Fields having CMC, Kittle, Deebo Samuel, and a solid OLine would result in him winning games and scoring a bunch of TDs as well.

I don't know that to be true. Purdy has to get the ball out quickly by design. That isn't something Fields has shown he's capable of doing. A rookie who was last in the draft is already a better passer.

Oh, its true.

That rookie has a good to great Oline and some of the best weapons in the league to throw to. If you want to bury your head in the sand and think that means Purdy is good and Fields isn't, then you go right ahead do so.

If Fields showed the ability to make decisions quickly and get rid of the ball quickly, you might have a point. Since he hasn't, you've just highlighted the fact Mr Irrelevant is a better passer than Justin Fields. As a Bears fan, that stings.

You're being intentionally narrow minded by ignoring the fact that Purdy has a better OLine than Fields. Purdy has a better running back than Fields. Deebo is one of the best WRs in the league, miles better than any WR Fields was throwing to this year. Kittle >> Kmet.

You're purposely refusing to look at the entire picture so that you can be 'right' and continue to bash Fields.

If you truly believe that Fields would be struggling to get 150-200 pass yards per game with weapons like Kittle, CMC, and Samuel, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

The 49ers don't run an offense where the quarterback can sit in the pocket and pat the ball 4 times before making a decision. I can't speak to a hypothetical system that doesn't exist. The Moss Patriots are the only team I remember that effectively ran a system where a quarterback could pat the ball a million times. Quarterbacks have to make decisions quickly. Fields hasn't shown that he can do that in college or the NFL. You should consider this when trying to carry water for Fields.

When it comes to natural talent, does Purdy have more than Fields? No. I'm not sure there is a quarterback in the NFL who does. Natural talent only goes so far. Tom Brady is the GOAT, and he isn't as naturally gifted as Jay Cutler.

Natural talent is great, but I didn't say a word about that.

You keep going back to Fields holding the ball, which is something I haven't said a word about here. You haven't refuted the fact at the 49ers have more and better offensive weapons than Fields has. There is no doubt having guys at/near the top of the league at RB, TE, and WR has helped Purdy yet you praise him.

Fields is throwing to guys that are practice squad level, and you seem to think he should simply overcome that and be great at throwing to subpar weapons.

Not to mention the fact that Shannahan and Griese are better offensive coaches than what Fields has had as well.

Hypothetically, it's possible Fields would throw the ball better if he had significantly better players around him. By how much? I don't know because of his current limitations. Purdy doesn't have those limitations. Even the Lamar Jackson system requires a quarterback to make quick decisions.

Look, I'm tired of having a Fields debate solely because I praised another quarterback. I've acknowledged Fields' talent, and I don't think anyone in this community believes I hate black people. My critique of Fields is similar to what Ryan Poles said about Fields last week. I'm going to guess he doesn't hate black people, either. To repeatedly suggest that I would prefer Fields to suck as a passer, and for the Bears to lose, so that I can be right is ridiculous and lazy.

Well then I hope Fields sucks as a passer and for the Bears to lose so Nas can be right.

You're the one who brought up Fields saying we would have a bust for him had he put up Purdy
numbers. I simply pointed out that Purdy is throwing to better players and has better players blocking for him. You're yet to acknowledge this fact.

Nas feels the exact same way. But he'll pull a Reader and abandon the team once the move to Arlington.

As an ISU alum, I'm all for the Purdy star to keep rising. Realistically, Garoppolo is gone, and Lance and Purdy compete next season.

Frank can't understand anything that goes against his way of thinking. Frank don't like opposing views. Frank angry. To the point, he'll stalk you for months. He probably wrote Ryan Poles an email questioning his views on Fields.

You brought up Fields into this thread like an hour ago, and now you're resorting to personal attacks.

I didn't bring up Fields an hour ago. I didn't personally attack you until you sent a few my way. Other than that, you're right about everything else.

Replying to something posted the previous evening is not stalking.

at least the Niners can console themselves with all the money they saved by drafting a rookie kicker and not resigning Robbie Gould

You never know how a guy handles pressure until you put him in a pressure situation.

Lance's contract wasn't a problem, there was no reason to trade him, they should have kept him to push Purdy to be better.
