The price of the #1 pick will be a lot higher than it was last season.

Bears could get a haul from trading down and selecting multiple players at non premium positions such as kick returner, off the ball linebacker and safety.

At least it seems clear we have little chance at tanking the season. The Packers look to be a strong candidate for the #1 pick though.

I always believe that whenever everyone thinks one thing is going to happen the opposite will end up happening, therefore the Bears will get blown out by the Vikings on Sunday. Too much bears and Fields excitement over playing two of the worst defensive teams

Isn't Justin Fields a gay man?

How much would you like to wager that this is NOT the scenario?

It's much more favorable for the Bears if the Pack wins eight or nine games than if they only win a few games. We want you to win just enough so that you won't be able to draft one of the top three QBs in the 2024 draft.

The good news for the board's Gute bootlicking crowd is they already have a top 3 QB - that's the only reason you'd torpedo Superbowl rings for the right to draft Jordan franchise QB Love. So seems like they're set for the foreseeable future.

It will sound much better if you refer to them as Gutelickers.

Glutelickers is also acceptable, especially if drinky.

Looks like pretty well . Lil Danny is so adverse to criticizing the great Justin Fields that he believes Luke Getsy is the guy responsible for getting DJ Moore the ball

i dont get that either. moore is regularly open downfield. justin doesnt see him. i kinda want to see moore go to KC just so we can see what he can really do. its a shame to have such a talent wasted on a shit team.

Did you not watch the game? J.Montana wouldn't have been able to throw for 200 yards with this horrid offensive line. Between Whitehair snaps flying all over the place and the Vikings Dline getting in the backfield almost every play, he had no chance to succeed.

I am not surprised he got hurt. It was inevitable given how poor his protection was today.

You should watch the games closely. The offensive line wasn't the problem outside of Whitehair. The problem was the running backs blocking.

Bullshit, I watch quarterbacks all day long stand in and make throws. Hurts just made a great onr.

He got hurt because he held the ball too long...yet again. Because he has no feel for his position. Also, Tyson Bagent would have thrown for 200 yards if he had played the whole game.

At least badgents mistakes seemed like flukes. With fields you hold your breath every play he starts.

as I've written before, the default for every Bear qb should be that DJ Moore is open on every play, even when he isn't. I won't complain if something happens while forcing him the ball. That is what you do with great receivers and that dude will fight for you.

Mully and Haugh just said Fields held the ball for 6.1 seconds on the play he got hurt. Sounds like a real protection problem.

Kap had it at 6.9 seconds from catching the snap to release.

That is misleading. He was scrambling around trying to avoid being sacked. Lets not pretend he was standing in a clean pocket for 6+ seconds. How long was it before he pulled it down and started running around?

Vikings blitzed for 70% of the plays  and Getsky did not adjust. No slants, no screens, nothing but  from our incompetant offensive coordinator.

Fields had no confidence in line or the play calls and was unable to mentally center himself and get back to the things that he was doing the previous two games. He seems mentally weak when things don't go his way and that is a problem.

He moved to avoid the rush and then attempted to reestablish himself in the pocket, inexplicably assuming he could wait a couple more seconds to throw the ball. Fields has no feel for the game.

Bagent audibled into two screens. Fields never did.

The screens were effective in reducing the blitzes of the Vikings.

He held the ball for 6 seconds on the play he was hurt.

He missed an unblocked linebacker on the first play. Like, never even saw him coming.

Like Midge said, it's almost like Fields has no feel at all for the game at times.

Yeah. The Oline cannot pass protect and our offensive coordinator cannot game plan for a pressure defense like Minnesota presented. Of course, losing all of our running backs didn't help anything either.
