Embarrassing New Video Shows Two Confused Bears O-Linemen Blocking Each Other During Strange Play vs. Vikings (VIDEO)
AND Nas blames the RB's

The below video shows one of his offensive linemen not only not blocking a single person from the Vikings defensive line, but the first person he actually touched to block was his own teammate.

It's a designed play to confuse the opposing quarterback into throwing the ball to the referee. It's football. The O-line is fine.

How about running the option and not blocking the end or the guy who has the pitch?

Not that bad? The team has no idea what they are suppose to do on both sides of the ball. It's a HUGE issue.

I genuinely don’t know what happened on the left side of the line. And I have no idea what the blocking scheme called for - seems like 25 was seemingly in position to help up the middle, though again, I have no clue.

Look on the bright side. You cannot get flagged for holding when you're blocking a teammate.

While scrambling to his left during the third quarter, Fields was sacked from behind by outside linebacker Danielle Hunter and appeared to land on his right hand. He was seen holding his hand afterward while gingerly walking back to the locker room with trainers.

This was the play that Fields hurt his hand. :?

He’s probably not really hurt. I think he saw that blocking scheme and decided to play dead until he gets traded to the next team.

The oline blocking each other play was not the play Fields got injured.

The online is fine. It's how football is played. Seacrest explained it in great detail.

I was referring to this play earlier in the thread. What the hell is going on here?

Yeah... it might have been in the Bears game thread.

All part of the Whitehair debacle, your center should be making the line calls and helping the younger players line up and understand their assignments, you are not only not getting that, but half of your snaps are bad.

This is a failure from the top down, Poles must have known the dude cannot play anymore, Eberflus must be able to see the dude can't play center, and your OC must be able to see in practice that he cannot make the snaps. also wonder what your oline coach is doing because the lineman look lost and confused with no plan for pressure packages, but that also gets back to your QB recognizing the blitz and then identifying and hitting his hot read.

There really is no reason to bring back anyone from this coaching staff, and you likely will see 3 or more new starters on your o line next year, and a new starting QB, but for gods sake give your rookie QB some quality offensive lineman, or he will be seeing ghosts like Justin Fields.

IIRC, DJ Moore was running open down the sidelines on this play. If Fields were to just have slid to his left a couple of steps and then stepped up in the pocket, he could have hit Moore for a big play and touchdown.

Fields has great athletic ability and speed, but he doesn't have the feel for the pocket. Dan Marino was a statue for the most part but he could bounce around the pocket, buy time and find receivers. Fields doesn't have that feel.

I would love to listen to the team review of this play and what Getz and company say about it.

A good breakdown of how terrible the line was. Particularly Whitehair.

He will only play on Sunday if he is granted partial ownership of the Bears organization.

Watching Bagent’s dad negotiate with George would be more entertaining than watching a Bears’ game.

Eberlose said Whitehair back at Center again. He fixed his snapping issues in less than 5 days that he's had his entire career!

What a crock of shit from Ebert!

I guess the play call for the OLINE on this play was the HOKEY POKEY?
