Head coach and full control over player/personal. It has to happen, they have no other choice. Let him decide on what quarterback to draft

He’s not proven from a player personnel perspective and giving guys illegal cheeseburgers does not an NFL roster make.

Harbaugh hasn't coached in the NFL in a decade or had significant success at Michigan. Every great young coach in the NFL are first time hires, you just have to luck into the right one that fits your roster.

I have always been good with Harbaugh. But I just dont see it happening. I def hope that their next coach has some head coaching experience preferably in the NFL.

After the Trestman disaster they when with a "safe", retread in John Fox, so I'm guessing it will be Dan Quinn.

That means nothing for a program like Michigan. What has he won? He pissed away a National Championship opportunity last season by losing to an inferior school.

They weren't even in the discussions for the National Championship before he arrived. I'm more interested in what he did in the NFL btw.

This isn't 2009. Teams know how to deal with quarterbacks like that. Besides, Justin Fields wouldn't be our quarterback if he were in the market for a new coach, AND Justin Fields has never been as good of a passing quarterback as Kaep was.

Alex Smith started 9 games for the 49ers that season, you fucking genius

They also had Frank Gore rush for over 1200 yards and allowed 17 points a game, but yeah it was all "Justin" and Harbaugh

the mckaskey's always liked him even when he was the qb.

but like OB said the bears don't want another ditka. someone who is larger than the bears themselves. that is what would happen with Harbaugh.

The first time I think I’ve ever agreed/defended caller bob. Nas’s arguments are weak.

It looks like Jim may need to Pete Carroll himself back into the NFL to avoid further investigations...welcome home Jim

https://www.espn.com/college-football/s ... llegations

Quote:
The NCAA is investigating the Michigan Wolverines' football program amid allegations of sign stealing, the Big Ten Conference announced Thursday.

The University of Michigan and the Big Ten were both notified by the NCAA of the investigation on Wednesday, and the conference said it had notified the Wolverines' future opponents.

"The Big Ten Conference considers the integrity of competition to be of utmost importance and will continue to monitor the investigation," it said in a statement.

According to a report by Yahoo Sports, Michigan allegedly had people attending games of future opponents as well as possible College Football Playoff opponents to gather information on signs used to call plays on offense and defense.

If true, the No. 2 Wolverines would have violated NCAA Bylaw 11.6.1, which states: "Off-campus, in-person scouring of future opponents (in the same season) is prohibited."

U.S. Integrity, a Las Vegas firm that monitors the betting market, sent out an alert to its sportsbook clients regarding the Michigan controversy Thursday, ESPN confirmed.

Michigan (6-0) plays Michigan State on Saturday.

Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh has already served a university-imposed three-game suspension this season stemming from alleged recruiting violations during the COVID-19 dead period and not cooperating with NCAA investigators.

Michigan still is facing four Level II violations, which are considered less serious, from those alleged violations. That ruling from the NCAA is not expected until 2024.

Another option might be for him to transition to baseball. Isn't Dusty Baker close to retirement? Astros would be a perfect fit.

He is suspected now of cheating which means his team benefited and most likely won MANY games because of it and you post his record as proof of what a successful coach he is.

The greatest coach in NFL history has cheated. What do you think your "own" is here?

He was always a fav of the mckaskeys.

Better than these no names we’ve got in the last decade.

At least he’ll make them a playoff contender.

you Fields hate is unreasonable at times

Dynamic Feedback. Did Gary Moeller or Lloyd Carr reach an NFL Superbowl with a mediocre quarterback?
