Saints don''t have any running backs. Kamara, useless in the running game, is their leading rusher with a 3 yd per carry average on too many carries, followed by QB's Hill and Carr.

Olave doesn’t give up on routes. He knew Carr was overthrowing that regardless. Nevermind what these guys say, they flat out don’t respect him.

The pass did look uncatchable in real time on initial viewing. But the way they edited together Carr chirping at Olave and then replaying Olave petering out at the end of his route made it look like it was on Olave and not Carr's uncatchable pass. Unless Carr was expecting Olave to break out of a dead sprint and leap 10 feet in the air and pull it down while tip-toeing along the in-bounds line.

Crap QB play like this is why there's talk of Jared Goff for MVP. Chronically mediocre QB's like Carr can't get out of their own way half the time and then come up short and end up costing their team wins and dumbasses who live bet them at +515 after they cut it to 1 score $$'s. Wondered why they were giving such juicy odds to the Saints only down 1 score with most of the 4th left...if anyone knows Derek Carr, it's Vegas.

Carr's always been shit in the Red Zone, worst in the league among starters in 2022 and near the bottom again this season. Justin Fields among top 10 in the Red Zone, but Fields doesn't get the team there very often. Recall Carr one time fumbled the ball through the end zone and out of bounds trying to stretch for the pylon, resulting in a safety and coughing up an easy W for the Raiders.

Maybe it undermines the starter with the team too much, but I think you run Taysom Hill out there for the entire sequence of 4 downs and not just the obvious Hill's taking it himself gadget play. It's all 1 read, quick routes and throws in those situations, Hill can handle that + Hill has the ability to score on a broken play or pull it down and call his own number successfully. Payton didn't have any problem pulling a future HoF QB for Hill when he needed to. If nothing else, defense having to account for Hill taking off and running ties up one of their defenders
