Our front 4 still sucks, but the defense has played really well the last 3 games.

They have played two terrible offenses and the Vikings without Jefferson

Got a good look at how the outside zone run game can work with a QB that recognizes what the D is giving on each play.

There were several plays where Bagent checked into the best run play, and was able to work through his reads and then quickly dump the ball off accurately to avoid a sack, or move the chains. It does seem Getsy has built in a safety valve on every play, but you never saw Fields hit the back late after leaking the pocket, he either tucks and runs or looks deep. There were successful plays you never see with Fields at QB, for some reason Fields just cannot hit a back accurately in the flat, he is either late, misses the throw, or makes the back stop and adjust which cuts down on any chance of run after catch yards.

This offense obviously lacks talent at C, LT, TE, and WR, you had average NFL backs putting up good numbers, can only imagine if they had a back with a little bit of speed. Does seem you may have stumbled upon a quality backup QB.

My favorite was when Sanchez said he went thru 5 WR's and checked down to the RB.

Tyson beat the Raiders all day with his feet in avoiding the rush and making a couple good runs.

No she was at Columbia (not the school of broadcasting) at the time. As for how old JLS actually was during filming I don't know.

The guy at the Heinens deli counter in Lake Forest isn't an actual source.

I didnt watch the first half but at any point during the game did the announcers point out how Bagent ( undrafted rookie from a podunk D2 school) had a wide open receiver running free and he missed him ?

He missed Tyler Scott in the red zone, but it didn't turn into a negative play.

No, but Mark Sanchez acted like it was a secret to NFL teams that Brian Hoyer struggles to make deep throws of any kind and therefore passes on open deep balls.

Foreman ran his ass of yesterday too. He’s going to get squeezed out when the other two guys come back correct?

Herbert is better and Johnson is the future.

Herbert has better vision, he's more elusive, and I think he has better speed. Johnson has the power, speed, and the willingness to block.

The more elusive thing is wrong. I have eyeballs.

All of the Bears beat reporters thought Foreman looked better than Herbert during training camp.

Game was blacked out at my house so that was disappointing, I really wanted to watch. Found out this morning that the QB is from Martinsburg, WV. I lived and worked there for about 7 months back in 2000. Knew that he went to that small Div II school down the road but didn't know he was originally from the area.

might be good trade bait. He looked good in both of his starts and has a history of production

Can someone please explain to me why Jaylon Johnson, not once, but twice removed his helmet on the field while celebrating? It should have been a penalty twice, but the Bears lucked out and it wasn't called. And then for those antics, Eberlose gives him the game ball. No wonder nobody respects this dope

10 more games till we can bring Jimmy home

Herbert isn't going to be back before the trade deadline, is he? And Johnson's status remains uncertain.

My assumption is because he did it outside of the field of play.

No, from what I saw, Johnson never reentered the field of play. He continued to shake the hands of fans until he got back to his sideline.

So Bob is mad that something- which may or may not have been an actual penalty- was not called on the Bears.

What a miserable existence this guy must have.

To me, why risk it especially when refs are liable to call it whenever they seem fit. It could happen again when the game is in the balance, even in victory the team is undisciplined. Yesterday on the sideline Eberflus resembled the Caucasian version of "Radio"
