No, from what I saw, Johnson never reentered the field of play. He continued to shake the hands of fans until he got back to his sideline.

To me, why risk it especially when refs are liable to call it whenever they seem fit. It could happen again when the game is in the balance, even in victory the team is undisciplined. Yesterday on the sideline Eberflus resembled the Caucasian version of "Radio"

He did very well against a top wide out.

Like Pace, Poles has drafted some pretty good defensive players so far.

He was getting his ass handed to him by Meyers. Meyers was in his head and you could see a penalty coming.

The team knows Justin was the problem with the offense, even if Bagent isn't as physically gifted.

“He gets the ball out so quick,” tight end Cole Kmet said. “Instead of him maybe sitting back there and maybe taking a sack and now you’re in second-and-16, you’re second-and-4. That’s a big deal. It is. He was good.

“That’s what we see all the time. But to do it in the game, that was nice. It’s hard to stop how quick he gets rid of the ball. We were just running normal quick game stuff but I am sure if he’s got to go next week, he’ll progress with some things.”

Kmet said there was one play where he was open for a downfield throw in the red zone.

“The pressure got to him and he ditched it off because he didn’t have time to get to me,” Kmet said. “I was wide open. He’s ditching it off saying, ‘Play the next play.’ That shows maturity.”

Stevenson is nice, but before you canonize Ryan Poles, check out what Joey Porter Jr is doing as a rookie.

Who the hell is Cole Kmet? I haven't heard his name in weeks.

Stevenson is a physical guy, but he's a liability in coverage. That hasn't improved much since the season started.

Also bailed out by Adams dropping a TD pass after torching Stevenson.

Tyrique Stevenson has some potential and could end up being a very nice player in the secondary. Anybody trying to say he had a good game yesterday is either blind or stupid.

His coaches disagree with you.

And you are going to get the majority of the passes thrown your way when Jaylon Johnson plays the other side.

Second in tackles yesterday, and three pass break ups. Trending well in his first year, Just like Kyler Gordon did.

I'll add canonize to the ever growing list of words you don't know the meaning of.

Stevenson was rated lower than Porter, and was picked lower as well. I can wait to see where they both are in two years.

Hell D'Onta Foremann sucked yesterday at noon.

We could have had Porter Jr but St Poles had to have Chase Claypool. As for Foreman, there is a reason he's not the #1. There is a thing called "blocking" and "pass catching" that is a requisite for NFL backs. Put on some tape and learn about it.

Are you serious?

He caught a TD yesterday.

Throw a tape of the game from yesterday in your VHS and see for yourself how he blocked, and caught passes.

Foreman can't pass block. That is why he was inactive before last week. And the Minny game showed what a disaster he was in pass protect. It wasn't a liability yesterday because Bagent got rid of the ball so quick. Really WATCH these games before coming here and opining.

Is my memory fuzzy or didn't Peanut also have some struggles his freshman year? For example I seem to recall a game in Seattle in which he took a critical PI call which enabled Seattle to continue their ultimately game winning drive.

Peanut got toasted against the Panthers in the playoffs of January 2006 when Ron Rivy-Air-A thought it would be a good idea to single him up with no help vs Steve Smith.

Yeah, CB is correct; it was the Panthers game. He's a far more emotional player than Tillman. That could make him a liability if he doesn't improve. It sounds like he made a significant leap from the beginning of training camp. Hopefully, he makes another.

I like our secondary which has been playing with a front seven that lacks a pass rush. I also have been encouraged by the play of our linebackers when healthy. Front four is the over-all weak point right now.

The way he follows men around here, it's pretty safe to say he likes man boobs.

To wait around hoping and praying for someone to reply to you, then coming up with that drivel as a comeback? Here, let me add this for no apparent reason...

Yeah Peanut got torched in that Panthers game, but that was also his third year in the league. He was a rookie in 2003.

Peanut was an aggressive corner that would get beat bad now and then.

He also played on Bears teams that had an actual pass rush.
