Yup, and our loss to Denver will help us out in our quest for the top two picks.

Interesting to read the "Bears needs" in the articles about draft positioning, the out of towners list OG, C, Edge, and DT as primary needs. They see the same thing everyone else sees, wondering why Poles did not see the same issues, it certainly is making for some embarrassing performances, especially at home where this team fails to show up for some reason?

This schedule is really something. Better be careful or they could have 6 or 7 wins.

Arizona is looking like the primary challenger for Carolina, would like the mighty Cardinals to win at least one more game, but good weekend for the beloved with the Pats and Broncos winning.

Hoping our pick is still top 8 as you could get a run on QB's early leaving one of the LT kids on the board.

If the Bears have #1 overall and another top 5 pick how can Harbaugh say no?

He turns 60 at the end of the year. It's starting to become now or never if he wants to return to the NFL

I assume that he is going to leave Michigan if his program faces any significant sanctions for its signal-stealing system.

The Bears likely can have him if they want him.

But that would also probably mean having to get rid of Poles.

I doubt that George would have the stomach for that.

It would nearly the exact scenario as a decade ago when a 2nd year GM in Phi Emery avoid a big name coach in Andy Reid who suddenly became available. At this point, Warren has to step in and inform Poles he will be hiring Harbaugh and working with him.

Arizona plays really hard. They just keep coming up short. I expect them to win more games. Especially if Call of Duty returns.

Please dont compare Reid to Harbaugh. The 49ers were good primarily because of their defense. All of Reid's teams have been good primarily because of his offense.

Their careers are very similar. When Andy left Philly he made a Superbowl but never won one, just like Harbaugh.

They aren't. Reid had been to like 5 NFC Championship games. It was all about his offense. The 49ers could only go where Fangio's defense took them. There isn't anything innovative about Harbaugh's approach to offense.

Many of the same things people are saying about Harbaugh now(can't win the big one) they were saying about Reid in 2013.

True, but that's where the comparison ends, IMO.

Need to figure out why the Vikings went from basically a done deal to "not interested" in like 6 hours.

Why did he have to take a paycut? Why was Michigan okay with him leaving? There are too many red flags. This media blitz screams he's desperate.

If they can bring Harbaugh in I think that they should and with what is apparently going on with the "spying" charges at Michigan, this might be the perfect time for the Bear's to act. They also might talk to Eberflus about staying in as their assistant head coach and defensive coordinator?

Agree, the odd media blitz which must be from Harbaugh's agent is odd, but he's an experienced HC who knows how to be the CEO of the team who will hire quality assistants and let them coach. Doubt Eberflus stays on, the guy runs an outdated defense, he struggles to disguise coverages and his players still look confused in the second year of his system.

The job certainly would be attractive given the abundance of resources available to upgrade the roster next year, and you will be a hero if you win 8 games.

Harbaugh would likely want his own GM and that seems to conflict with the obvious expectation free three years that George has given Poles thus far, there would be an instant flame applied to the GM's backside as Harbaugh would likely want to launch several of the dudes Poles keeps trotting out there for some odd reason.

Harbaugh has no leverage. He can't likely stay at Michigan and no one wanted him a couple of years ago.

First win of the season today.

Young is improving.

It's amazing how quickly Bears fans are ready to put all their chips into getting two top five picks in the draft. Do they remember as bad as the Bears were last year it still came down to the final play of the season in the Texans game

Favorable schedule upcoming.

Why November is so important for Frank Reich’s Carolina Panthers after 1-6 start

The Panthers could turn around their early season misfortunes with a trio of winnable games in the month of November.

After a 1-6 start, the Panthers are looking to build off a 15-13 win against the Houston Texans. With the Indianapolis Colts (3-5) coming to town this week, and the Chicago Bears (2-6) and Tennessee Titans (3-4) on tap later this month, Carolina could make a dent in the win column.

In the latest episode of the Processing Blue podcast, Panthers beat writer Mike Kaye and host Langston Wertz Jr. discuss a favorable cluster of games in Carolina’s schedule. The duo also discusses the listless trade deadline, Bryce Young’s development and the first impressions of offensive coordinator Thomas Brown as a play-caller.

Dolphins this week, so 0-6 is a near lock. I worry about the next game. They play the Texans, at home, coming off a bye. That starts off an easier stretch with them with the Colts (without Richardson) at home and then BEARSSSSSSSS

I actually was kind of heartened by the win. They had every advantage and needed a last second field goal for a come from behind win.

Two of the bigger games on the Bears remaining schedule will be Carolina and Arizona, beating Carolina to limit their win total, and losing to Arizona to help Arizona get to the magical 3 wins needed to keep the hard charging Giants, Pats, and Packers from pushing either first round pick out of the top 5.

Call of Duty will be back next week. They've played hard in every game without him. They'll win more games.
