Of the five, White seems the least griftiest. Monopolizing isn't grifting.

Grifter: Someone who gets money dishonestly by tricking people.

Dana White is a promoter in the same vein as Don King. People love to compare the UFC to the major sports leagues like NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, ETC... but the UFC is a fight promotion and not a real sports league. The athletes/talent are all independent contractors and have no say into collective bargaining like the other major sports leagues. The UFC promotes people who sell and make money to the promotion like Connor McGregor who hasn't won a fight in like 4 years but they will gladly give him a title fight at the drop a dime if it makes the UFC money. There fighter ranking is basically arbitrary by the company and not from an independent governing body. If you don't think Dana is a grifter by the definition of grifting you haven't listened closely to any of his interview the past 10 yrs. The UFC business model is basically to promote the UFC and the fighters are just replaceable widgets.
