it seems they backtracked on the $50k penalty for flipping a cybertruck, but i don't get why? it makes financial sense for a company to do this with a product that is hard to make. This is a sudden change, unless their plan the whole time was to make the threat but never follow through with it.

in any case, youre going to start seeing these things on the road. i'm not sure they will outsell the rivians... i think the only way that happens if they are actually a better utility for businesses. I do know the rivian is fatally flawed for anything useful as a truck.. horrible tailgate design that will shorten the life of the vehicle.
