This was the arrangement if Houston didn't back out of the deal with the Bears.

I hate people saying they take responsibility for something absent any accountability for taking responsibility for that thing.

It's why he fired the coach.

The buck stops with me. But like, kind of, but not in a real way cuz I own the team, ya know? So I fired that guy - fuck him, he’s done. Don’t even remember his name at this point. Now it’s on me. Unless this next guy sucks in which case it’s on him.

It's hard to know if he's telling the truth about Houston's preference since it has been widely reported for months that Reich preferred Stroud to Young.

Are you going to believe the guy that was so bad he got fired after like 10 games or are you going to believe the guy who hired the guy that was so bad he got fired after like 10 games?

Yeah, that may be why he was fired. He probably reminded him every week. Josh McCown loved Young. He raved about him in every video before the draft.

I wish someone would rave about Beauregard Nixon. I know he's 38 years old, but man can that old man sling it.

It looks like the Patriots will be our only competition for the first pick.

Panthers made it close with Tampa, Patriots are without a doubt the worst team in football

Yeah, the Panthers scared me. The Patriots defense may be good enough for them to accidentally win a game. They have nothing on offense.

Forget about winning--the Patriots might not even score for the rest of the season.

Arizona is pretty decent with their QB back. I don't think we need to worry about them anymore.

It's the Patriots we have to worry about. But Belicheck does have their defense playing well like you've said. They have 2 wins. Maybe we just need old Bill to get one more out of them. I think they have one more against the Jets. So...there it is. That game might be 4-2.

Poles might trade down again with Carolina's '24 #1. His top draft QB may or may not
even be
Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. Then, Fields still has 2nd or 3rd round trade value with his fools gold higher ceiling potentially for QB desperate teams. Lots of options.

Pats get a chance for a win Thursday against the offensively challenged Steelers.

Who woulda thought the Steelers would be the one's that would help to make sure we secure the #1 pick, Tomlin is our Lovie this year.

Is (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky going to be starting at QB?

Go Mitch!

Because the Patriots won both of their games in the division, the Panthers would have to win 2 of their last three games for us not to have the #1 pick. If the Patriots and Cardinals win one more game, it's essentially guaranteed we'll get the first pick.

Edit: 2 of their last 5*

Nothing's guaranteed and NE is on a mission. Carolina has no such mission.

really huge, because I think the panthers will walk into one more, especially against Tampa on on the last day of the year.

Fuckers are going to make me cheer for the Packers...on Christmas Eve, no less.

The Patriots defense has given up a total of 26 points in their last 3 games. Their offense has scored a total of 13 points.

I don't see it happening. The Broncos or Jets are our best chance to officially lockdown the #1 pick.

The Steelers have repaid us for that Claypool trade with the back to back Ls against 2 win teams.

Steeler have lost back to back home games against the Cardinals and Patriots.

If we get the number one pick it's due to the Steelers and especially Mitch (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. How about that?
