That's why I said 4.

The Jets would be a playoff team if they didn't dump him. How do you go back to Watson if Flacco wins you a playoff game or two?

Watson to Denver? They can pay 70% of their cap in QB salaries.

Maybe Vegas would be a happy ending.

They have to go back to Watson. He's still young and they owe him a shit load of money. All of his money is guaranteed. They'd be in cap hell for 3 years if they move him. A lot of dead money. But it's funny, if Watson plays the entire season, I don't think the Browns make the playoffs.

Like you said, Nas, if the Jets kept Flacco they'd be a playoff team and the Browns wouldn't. He swung both team's seasons.

Per ESPN... Matt Nagy fired as Chiefs' OC.

Flacco is better than Fields and it isn't close.

Must be from the same sources that say Fields is a transcendent talent.

Pretty much anyone is better than Fields.

The Nagy is the problem narrative is a joke. Like Reid and Mahones have no input into game planning. Or that either of them don't change plays called by Nagy in game.

I do see this.

https://gridironheroics.com/eric-bienie ... iefs-news/

Quote:
REPORT: Kansas City Chiefs Could Hire Emergency Coach For Playoffs After Patrick Mahomes’ Comments

The Kansas City Chiefs reportedly have another way to jumpstart their offense for the playoffs besides adding free agency help at pass-catching or offensive lineman positions. The Chiefs have a couple of starting offensive linemen banged up following their loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day.

The Chiefs’ offensive struggles at wide receiver have been well-documented this season. The Chiefs lead the league in dropped passes with 26 dropped balls in 2023. Some Chiefs fans blame Matt Nagy for the offensive problems.

Nagy was the Chiefs offensive coordinator in 2016-17 before he left for the Chicago Bears head coaching job in 2018. He stayed there until he was fired following the 2021 season. Nagy coached the Chiefs quarterbacks in 2022.

He reclaimed the offensive coordinator gig after Eric Bieniemy left to take the Washington Commanders job this past offseason in hopes of improving his resume so he could find a head coaching job. The Commanders are on the brink of firing head coach Ron Rivera after Week 18. (The Commanders’ woes this season are not on Bieniemy.)
The Kansas City Chiefs could hire Bieniemy for the playoffs

Mike Florio with NBC Sports thinks the Chiefs could make a literal splash hire for the playoffs by adding Bieniemy once he’s been relieved of his offensive coordinator duties in Washington. Patrick Mahomes has hinted recently he misses his former offensive coordinator:
“First, the Commanders would have to fire Bieniemy. If/when they move on from coach Ron Rivera, the Commanders could choose to hold other members of the staff in place, until the next coach decides whether to keep him. If that doesn’t happen, and if Bieniemy is relieved of his duties, he’d be free and clear to join any other team for the playoff run.

Why not return to the Chiefs? Quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently explained that Bieniemy brought an accountability that the team is missing. “I think Coach Bieniemy set that standard when he was here,” Mahomes said.”

At this point, the Chiefs need to consider hiring Bieniemy if he’s available for the playoffs. They have nothing to lose by bringing back a key staff member from their previous two Super Bowl wins. They do have a lot to lose by sticking with Nagy when it’s clear the offense isn’t improving with a couple of weeks left in the regular season

The Chiefs will face tough defenses in the AFC this January. The Ravens, who lead the AFC standings heading into Week 17, just forced an NFL MVP candidate into throwing four interceptions on Monday Night Football. Bieniemy might be head coach Andy Reid’s real gimmick that could save their season instead of hoping a series of miracle plays can do the trick.

But will the Commanders play ball?

Is Aiden Hutchinson good? I feel like he’s not good.

He’s overly praised in every broadcast to the point I think Joe Buck may see him as a clear herrenmenschen.

I think Gibbs actually scored on that run…he was pulled down but rolled over the defender.

You should tell everyone how lucky you are to watch Justin Fields.

Lions v. a niners team with no QB might be competitive.

Maybe the Rams and McVay could give the Niners a game for a half or so. But Rams secondary so exploitable, once Derek Carr figured that out he kept throwing bombs for TDs against em.

Eagles? Lions? Dallas? I don't see em winning @Niners. Rams would need to play a perfect game and not have Stafford take any bad red zone sacks or throw any pick sixes. Also, Rams kicking game/special teams atrocious.

Ravens created a blueprint. Question is who can follow that blueprint. I assume you need a defense that can pressure up the middle and prevent YAC.

Def not the Lions. Prolly not Philly.
