They couldn't be more different politically and personally.

And he also gets to even some old scores for some friends.

Interesting

I guess I wasn't paying attention to notice that he is one of those guys who likes to tell everyone that he is a big executive working 18 hour days. He isn't aware enough to realize that this fluff piece created in house doesn't actually make him look like he works all that hard. The Google girl from Tik Tok thought she worked 18 hour days as well.

He is a lawyer, so I can appreciate that he thinks every waking hour is billable

So he actually sleeps until 5 am. That fluff piece made me believe he was more of a phony than I already thought. "I wash my car every home game!" GTFOH! Ryan Poles didn't appear to be happy when they hugged.

Kevin Warren wakes up without an alarm at 4:30 a.m. It's the morning of the Bears' final home game of the season — Warren's first as the team's President and CEO.

He starts each day the same way — with prayer followed by quiet time. For 30 minutes, he lays flat in complete silence. He listens to the quiet, letting the natural thoughts in and allowing him a moment to "steal my mind."

Every morning, Kevin Warren wakes up and is like "man this shit sucks I don't want to get out of bed for like another half hour." Honestly same

 Not sure what “steal my mind” even means. Maybe he meant “steel my mind”?

There were whispers when he was hired that he took/received credit for a lot of accomplishments that weren't really attributable to him.

I know its not fair to say we have seen almost no movement on the one project he was brought in to complete. Much of that work is done in private. However, it is a bit concerning that the project still seems to be stuck in the locating phase.

That is concerning. It's even more concerning that he wants to be involved in the on field decision making. Outside of kissing babies, looking professional, and winking at corporate partners, he hasn't shown that he is the right man for the job.

Whispers? It’s staring you right in the face.

I think this message bored is the only place where I saw earnest arguments that he got the Vikings stadium deal done. To believe that, you’d have to accept that the Wolf family - billionaire real restate developers - outsourced their largest ever investment to a career lawyer on their payroll.

If Warren had ever flown through Kansas City, he’d also have taken credit for drafting Patrick Mahomes.

Chicago Bears President Kevin Warren says building a ‘magnificent’ downtown stadium remains a possibility by Dan Wiederer
Chicago Bears President Kevin Warren emphasized a glass-half-full mindset with his dream of building an iconic stadium in the heart of the city.

I wonder if the city can make something happen at Roosevelt/Clark, or pull the plug on Lincoln Yards, which continues to not happen.

This is just the dumb game the city and county is forcing them to play.

Either the government pays 2 billion for a new Bears stadium in Chicago or the Bears pay 2 billion for a new stadium in AH.

The choice for everyone seems easy but the Bears win either way.

Looks like Warren fired the beloved Cliff Stein, no team announcement, but it's on his LinkedIn.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/cliff-stein-502b0934/

They will probably replace him with some DEI hire

Greg Gabriel had a meltdown when that happened. Swore off arguing with people on Twitter for a few hours.

When a reporter gets that mad about something like this you have to wonder why.

Because he respected Stein’s ability to manage the fictional NFL salary cap, of course.

Cliff Stein is one of the few C Suite success stories the team ever had.

He did some ground breaking stuff, like structured rookie deals, that were adopted by the NFL as a whole.

Reminds me of the classic Jiggs line, "never confuse activity with accomplishment."

Dude basically wastes a majority of his day grab assin' way too huggy, the shot of him and the Mayor of Chicago looks like amateur hour, damn the McKaskey's are suckers, they fall for the clueless nice guy act every single time.

One of the keys to success for survival in a mom-and-pop business is doing stuff the hapless family members like, this guy checks all the boxes.

A dude like Jerry Jones wouldn't even hire him to run his ticket office.

I had to check the timestamp of this post to make sure it wasn't from 1995.

Jerry Jones just brought Mike McCarthy back for a fifth season.
