I was just wondering if I'm the only one who gets annoyed with Lawrence Holms yelling, screaming, squeeky high pitched voice along with his constant gaffawing. It seems like he panders to guests by laughing at something they say that isn't even funny. He's ok when he's on Comcast after a Bears game because he's with Wanny and Alex Brown and Briggs. He actually acts normal.

Isn't this all what they teach you at the broadcasting school they run endless spots for on both stations?

You also have the Syracuse group of Zaidman, Parkins, and the Cubs forgettable TV play by play guy...at least Holmes seems to have a pulse at times, and feigned "fire and passion" seems preferable to the alternative, but you are not exactly getting A level material in the Chicago broadcast market these days.

These guys do get riled up when discussing Tony LaRussa, but don't really care about much of anything else and that is hard to hide when you do a local sports talk radio show, most of the Syracuse lot would much rather be doing a national syndicated show where you just skim the surface, and the local dues would much rather talk about the approved SJW topics of the day, so most have moved on consuming their niched podcasts.

They are also very woke and liberal for the most part.

He doesn't have the post game show any more. He got bumped from that by some chick. Now he does a podcast postgame from his basement for about five people.
