I doubt Poles would trade the #1 pick for Hurts. And Philly wouldn't take Fields for Hurts.

down year for Eagles/Hurts and reports coming out of Philly make it sound like they're open to shopping Hurts.

Fields + 9th overall for Hurts + Eagles 27th pick in the 1st round?

yeah, I wouldn't trade the 1st overall for Hurts. He's entering year 5 + injury issues + hefty contract. Better off gambling on rookie deal QB being at least as good as Fields and maybe Hurts level eventually.

if you did swap QB's and 1st round picks with Philly, you'd trade out of the 1st overall at that point; preferably to some team like the Panthers that will fuck up the pick and suck again next season.

am I a fool for really liking Caleb Williams?

I'll probably hate his personality and his overbearing father but I look at him as the affirmative choice to qb the bears to renewed greatness

Caleb Williams wants to break the NFL he'll bring Cupcakke from LA with him and have her sit next to his parents in the stands; force the NFL to try not to play Lemon Pepper and h2hoe bumpers.

He's going to be the most hated guy in the league. And I'm sure refs will never let anyone touch him either.

I'm glad you asked brogue....

Whether or not the Bears should trade Justin Fields for Jalen Hurts is a complex question with no easy answer, as it depends on several factors specific to their individual situation and priorities. Here's a breakdown of some key points to consider:

Hurts led the Eagles to the Super Bowl, showcasing his ability to excel in a high-pressure situation. He's also a more established passer than Fields at this point, with better accuracy and completion percentage. The Eagles have a more talented and experienced offensive line and receiving corps compared to the Bears. This could potentially lead to Hurts having more success in Philadelphia than Fields would in Chicago.

The Bears are undergoing a rebuild, and it's unclear if Fields will be their long-term answer at quarterback. Trading him now could allow them to recoup some value and potentially draft a different QB prospect in the future.

Why would Philly want the dollar store version of Jalen Hurts?

I would keep justin, get williams, and tell williams "it's your team" for 3 years until he tries to force a trade and then franchise tag him and keep him on the bench.

It shouldn't. He loves doing this bit. He takes a strange contrarian position and throws a bunch of shit against a wall to see if he can get it to stick.

When it ends up wrong he just shrugs his shoulders and moves on to the next bad opinion
