Grossly unremarkable also describes Caller Bob’s posts. Glad to hear she’s doing well Darko.

Very glad to hear DW is free and clear, or will be very soon. Since her diagnosis, my SIL in Texas, only 55, was diagnosed Stage 4 colon cancer in November. She is a medical assistant at a cancer clinic, ironically. They treater her immediately and she, also, is diagnosed cancer free.

I blame their 15 years living in Wisconsin.

Fuckin' a, great news. I'm sure your wife showed remarkable strength and fortitude during this crisis, as did you. Also, thank your doctors, not Jesus.

The doctors were nothing short of amazing. Somehow we managed to get the chief of trauma surgery to do the initial surgery and that man cut through all the bullshit to get to that point. Initially we were put on a 3 month wait for the colonoscopy. He made it happen in 2 weeks. He said she didn't have that kind of time to wait. Then the man delayed his vacation 2 days to do the surgery. Her oncologist was remarkable as was all her support staff. That oncologist didn't fuck around, and she's young but I got the distinct impression she was incredible. The techs, nurses and everyone down to the orderlies were incredible. So... the very night of her surgery, of course she gets her... monthly bill. Well she can't move, can't get to the bathroom, can't do anything, has a catheter and all that. The nurse on duty took care of the mess, got her changed out, and because my wife was crying with embarrassment she sat with her and just talked holding her hand in the middle of the night when I'm sure she had other matters to attend to.
I never knew how strong DW was until all this. She used to cry and carry on about taking an aspirin. Now she's getting cut up and poked and prodded and having literally her insides rearranged and she's like whatever. I'm impressed and jealous.

Getting my first colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Starting the prep right now. This stuff doesn't taste too bad at all.

Only advice I can give you is the following, stay close to the bathroom and don’t trust a fart.
