Minnesota is so not the right fit for Fields. They require quick throws, quick reads, diagnosing coverages, etc. It's everything Fields doesn't do well or at all.

There's no way Fields can function in the system that O'Connell runs. The Vikings will have 0 interest in him. Any other ideas?

Many in the media and on CFMB were predicting Fields would yield a first-round pick on the trade market.

Giants. He’s a better version of Daniel Jones. He’s a homeless man’s Josh Allen.

Make it happen.

Why would someone give up a first-round pick for a QB whose main flaw is throwing the football?

This is why I want the Vikings to retain Kirk Cousins.

Looks like Cousins is gone.

That would seem to be the best possibility given Daboll's strengths as a coordinator. Are the Giants dumb enough to go for it?

I honestly think that is a real possibility, especially since Jones is coming off of a serious injury. The Giants are definitely going to have to do something, and they are lurking in no-man's land with that number 6 pick.

It wouldn't be dumb for a 3rd round pick or lower. they do have an extra 2nd-round pick this year, but I would hope they would not trade that for Fields.

In retrospect, Pole's "do right by Justin Field's" comment is looking pretty silly....

It was pretty stupid. They can fix it by bluffing about keeping him into next season though.

Yeah, that would be quite a master stroke.

He was electric at times last year. They should have used him more

That Seahawks second rounder gets it done. Use 6 to draft a playmaker or Alt.

Steak dinner boom.

Fields could have helped himself by listening to the coaching on how to pass the ball more effectively.

4.6 YPC last season for the team with an elite offensive line? Didn't the Lions prefer Montgomery to Swift?
