Consensus was that he was a good player, but could not beat Morse, Bills needed to cut tons of cap space, so getting rid of vets and will go with draft picks on the o line, kind of what happens when you have to pay your QB.

If you watch him you see they type of lineman Poles loves, athletic, not a mauler, but can, get guys moving laterally. Better player than the guys the Bears have started at center for the past few seasons, but that is a very low bar.

Van Pran could be there in the third round and projects as a good fit in a zone scheme, so would not be surprised if they draft a center in the 3rd or 4th round.

Poles seems like he has "I'm smarter than everyone else" syndrome. Why pay 30MIL a yr for an established player when I can get a younger and cheaper player who may become a star in the future. Lets hope he is smarter than everyone else. He flopped on Claypool, Patrick and hit on Sweat and passed on D.Hunter.

We are in offseason #3. The center position should be fixed by now. This bit you are doing is stupid.

The Bears have had tepid interest in Fields, at least at their asking price, and reports have indicated Chicago could end up waiting longer than expected to offload him.

Poles should be lowering his asking price to 4/5th round. He already fumbled his , "do what is best for Justin." by asking for a 1st or 2nd round pick and not accepting the 4th or 5th rounders that could have landed Fields in LV, PITT or ATL.

It's not a bit. If you are going to bitch about every move, I don't think it's unreasonable to say what you would have done prior to the start of the season. You're afraid to do that, good dolphin wasn't.

Wonder if Poles will at least kick the tires on Mike Williams, injury issues and on the older side, but would give you another vet WR to work with your rookie QB.
