All the experts on the CBS show have Purdue making the final four?

Is this the year Brick?

I cannot see anyone beating UConn. Which means they probably lose by the 2nd round

One Post whishes it was just 4 teams. UCONN vs NC. Purdue vs Houston.

Send all the other teams to Birmingham and Orlando to play exhibition games where at the end you get a Music City Shootout trophy!

Once upon a time, NCAA tourney was bigger than the NFL, Elvis, Taylor Swift and TikTok challenges involving quick-cut partial nudity and melted Mr Beast bars.

Between one-and-done recruits, xfer portal roster shakeups and NIL...nobody but the players' parents watches this thing anymore; and the parents only catch the game clips on house of highlights while waiting for their tinder/grinder match to respond.

it's dead, Jimmy V, one-and-done slit its throat and left it to bleed out on the wrong side of Indianapolis; transfer portal made it so you can be watching a player in the tourney for one team show up a year later playing in the tourney for their rival. Then NIL came along and put 2 in the head, 3 more center-mass before stealing its shoes, ATM card, #LiveWrong plastic wrist-wrap and taking its iPhone from MM's cold, dead mitten and using it to facetime MM's girl to hook up later.

The end of that Akron v. Kent State game was brutal. I fell bad for that kid.

It was pretty dumb to not know the score of the game and I know the guy was trying to foul, but I thought it was a pretty cheap call anyway. You have to do better when you're fouling on purpose.

KU is a team that should lose, but to Samford? They probably get a pass with these first two potential matchups.

They have not looked good this year and their top scorer is out. That seed was a gift because they are Kansas.

They were good in non-con. Beat Kentucky, Tennessee, and UConn. Injuries and lack of depth have caught up to them. Lost 9 Big12 games. Their metrics and seeding are living off the great nov/dec

I have a small portion of a Calcutta in which I could only be a passive investor. We have too many teams in our portfolio for me to follow them all, at least until next week.

I never even filled out a bracket this year and can't remember if I did one last year. Probably just root for the Illini and then watch the rest of the drama unfold. My wife and I are headed down to IL with the dog to visit my buddy who has the early onset Alzheimer's tomorrow. We used to watch hoops together for years so hoping it will be a fun time as things could likely look very different a year from now. Sort of a tough thing to try to negotiate.

I didn't have strong feelings for them going in but by the time I got to the end I had picked Purdue over NC. Sorry BRick.

What's CBS going to do when I win the womens bracket with the name Only Two Genders?

Just for fun last night I re-watched the 1990 2nd round Loyola Marymount - Michigan game that LMU won 149-115. It was a whole different game being played back then with that ridiculous short 3-point line, Jeff Fryer was like 11-15 from three. He was taking wide-open threes on fast breaks and just hitting them all. It is always satisfying watching Michigan get smashed. It was practically a home game for LMU and the place was going bananas. It kind of got me primed up for March Madness.

That would have been a fun watch. Hank Gathers was one of my favorite players of all time ( obviously didn't play that game ). What a beast.

Amen. What a fun team that was. There was a 30 for 30 on Paul Westhead, the highlights from that beatdown of Michigan was great. Fryer had 41 in that game.

you just never see a team full-court press that aggressively for an entire game and literally run no set offense. It was hilariously fun to watch. Michigan was no joke that year either, they were pretty good.

Oregon looks significantly better (and better-coached) than South Carolina. The SEC is pretty good, but SC looks bad. Never seen them play before the second half today.

This Dayton-Nevada game is nuts. Dayton on a 14-0 run late to cut the deficit to 3
