packers fan is laughing through his tears knowing he is playing for third place this year

Would you like to place a wager on that?

Can I wait until after the draft?

I think for teams not looking to compete now/in the next 2 seasons, it was a reset the rookie contract clock vs trade draft picks for a player about to run out of rookie contract years.

Steelers/ATL might've been willing to part with more-better draft picks if they hadn't landed veteran free agent starting QBs.

What point are you making? (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was far better as a Bear than Fields and no one cared about "doing right" by (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

Yeah, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was bad in Pittsburgh.

Prime playoff push for the NBA, and we are here talking off season out of town NFL. And not even starters at this point.

Would you consider this a great rookie year for C-Will?

198 passing yards a game
61.5 completion percentage
18 passing touchdowns
87 rating
57 QBR
6 wins

Anything less than 8-9 is a step backward. But it's unlikely a rookie QB not named Coleridge Bernard Stroud IV has that kind of rookie success.

In a LOCAL TEAM'S football thread as opposed to a talk radio show. Great Comp by the way.

Every number I posted is a tick above the career highs for Justin Fields. I see that as the floor for C-Will. I imagine the Fields Cult won't say those numbers are great for another quarterback, even one who is a rookie. I'm just asking a question.

Frank took Geography because he liked to know where things were  . Probably why he had difficulty finding his way down to 35th and Lowe (and then later lying as if he was) after pump faking for about a month about it.

Hey "Phantom Frank". What says more about your (lack of) character?

1..Lip Boxing for a month about a humbug that YOU KNEW YOU'D NEVER HAVE?

Or

2. LYING as if you actually did show up in order to save face with your message board buddies?
Or
3. Pretending (long after the dust has settled) to act as if you did in fact show up nearly 3-4 years after the fact?
Just Asking Questions

I'm already booked up on long term bets with Packers fans.

Also, you'd be placing a bet that I have 9 months left.

I don’t care when we do the bet, Green Bay isn’t finishing 3rd in the division.

I'm really surprised the Colts didn't make a strong play once it was clear only backup situations would be available. Joe Flacco is about as opposite as Richardson as you can get, for those who argued that teams want a consistent type between starter and backup

Maybe Indy going with the Peyton Manning thing where either he or they didn't want a competitive backup? Flacco might well be more than competitive in terms of QB ability at the moment, but Richardson isn't going to lose his spot long-term to careless 39 year old Joe.
