My bad, thought this was an internet sports talk chat, didn't realize it was a U.S. Supreme Court law-talk forum.

You are taken aback that someone would expect you to support your opinion with some kind of facts rather than someone else's unsupported opinion?

The linked article links to another about something called the S2 Cognition test and it being a predictor of QB success. The S2 site list the Bears as being one of the "Partners."

Any word on how Caleb, JJ and the others fared on this test?

Though seems the packers don't use it

Didn't Fields receive one of the highest scores ever recorded on that test?

And Stroud was rumored to have the worst.

as a michigan fan and one who's watched every game he's started, I think he ranked in the top 5-6 QB in 1st half pass attempts and like dead last in 2nd half attempts by nature of the teams construction. pretty accurate and the guy didn't have elite WR talent. roman wilson is alright (4th round pick likely?) but the rest of the guys are just guys.

i do not think he's better than jayden daniels or caleb williams. He's fortunate that a lot of teams need a QB this year.

The scores, per McGinn, are as follows:

Bryce Young (Alabama): 98 percent
Jake Haener (Fresno State): 96 percent
Will Levis (Kentucky): 93 percent
Jaren Hall (BYU): 93 percent
Clayton Tune (Houston): 84 percent
Anthony Richardson (Florida): 79 percent
Hendon Hooker (Tennessee): 46 percent
C.J. Stroud (Ohio State): 18 percent

This says he did but I cannot find any actual scores. So could just be BS?

I don't think it's BS. Josh Lucas has also mentioned that Fields did very well on the test.

The league may now ne higher on McCarthy than they are on Maye. I still think Daniels has more bust potential, but I wouldn't be surprised if the first 3 picks were C-Will, Daniels, and McCarthy.

That tracks with people like Simms and Warner not liking what they see on Maye's tape.
