If this doesn't get him back in the league, he almost has to sue.

Would you have felt the same way if the Bears had signed Colin Kaepernick?

Are we going to pretend he didn’t get run out of the league for kneeling? And the coward owners wouldn’t stand up like BRogue is suggesting?

Would he have helped them win? People have this fascination about Kaepernick like he was Aaron Rodgers or something. He was a flash in the pan and the NFL is filled with guys like that. He was a better version of Kordell Stewart.

That’s my point. Bauer much more accomplished still pitching. Kap never went to CFL or equivalent to show he could still play.

Does Bauer have a lawsuit ready to go against MLB for his suspension and administrative leave lost wages?

Bauer was arguably at the peak of his career when this started and became a pariah over false accusations. Kaep was very bad before he opted for unemployment and had an all-time juice/squeeze imbalance.

The collective bargaining agreement between players and MLB would probably be a bar to any lawsuit against them. He was "properly" suspended under that I assume. At least that would be the basis for a motion to dismiss I'm guessing.

See I don't know man. He may have been the victim of a crime here. Not just a guy who violated some goofy personal conduct policy.

Apparently one of the girls is being charged with a crime. That has nothing to do with the legitimacy of his suspension under the MLB collective bargaining agreement.

I thought he pulled a Mike North and refused multiple contract offers for less than he thought he was worth

Kap and Bauer both had their careers ended because of biological women

Longshot, and MLB usually just opens the checkbook to settle potentially viable lawsuits challenging their antitrust exemption, but maybe challenge the appropriateness/validity of MLB's antitrust exemption: it effectively prohibits Bauer earning a living pursuing his chosen profession within the U.S.

Also: it's bullshit.

Bauer had done a lot of things before this to make himself unlikable to the league before this. He was supposedly a class-A pud to everyone he came across.

I wish the Cubs would sign this asshole today so I didn't have to stomach another Kyle Hendrick's 86MPH fastball landing 430 feet in the stands.
