tough one to predict because there are so many picks until 75

positionally, maybe Edge with Adissa Isaac from PSU or Marshawn Kneeland from Western Mich

However, they are far enough down that they shouldn't be drafting for position. See where the talent lies. Maybe a guy like Powers-Johnson falls because of his lack of positional versatility, or maybe Zack Frazier from WVU.

Do you really think Powers-Johnson would drop that far?

No, but who knows. We hear these guys names "shooting up the board" from the experts and then, invariably, the pros don't hold them in the same esteem

Hoping they go with the best Center at #75 and the best Guard with their final pick.

As I mentioned in another thread -most of their money is invested in the defense right now. Use what’s left of this draft to fill out needs on offense and go into next years draft with a full boat of picks and spread it around.

That said, I won’t be mad if Poles uses some of next years extra capital to move up and grab one of the top 2 centers in this draft like Powers-Johnson or the kid from Virginia.. tho many believe Van Pran should be there at #75 so it might pay to just sit and wait.

Because defense got pushed back in the 1st round there could be a big run on defensive players and the 2nd wave of WR’s in the 2nd round which would cause those centers to slide even more. Let’s hope for that.

I want Sinnott and an interior offensive lineman. I'm not married to it being a center. I'm going to trust Poles for now when it comes to Bates.

Hoping they take some of that draft capital from next year and move into the second round this year.

Can't believe the Bears actually didn't try to outsmart the room and did the right thing at 1 and 9. Couldn't be happier as a Bears fan.

Apparently the league saw what I saw in him. The media hype was over the top. Some people suggested that the Bears should consider him at #9.

It's crazy how deep this draft is at WR. Troy Franklin is still out there, who is commped to Chris Olave.

His track record with things like this doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. I don’t think a career backup who was about to be cut is a long term solution. Get the long term guy now.. besides you can never have too much depth on the lines.

Just fix this damn position already. Center has been an issue since Kreutz left..

Yeah, I thought this WR group went about 20 deep. I absolutely love Keon Coleman, and I'm not positive he'll get drafted in the 2nd round. You can't convince me Adonai Mitchell isn't better than Legette and Worthy.

The two white guys are very interesting. Pearsall had very good measurables and is supposed to be a great route runner. Could be a Welker type for the niners.

Ladd McHonkey could be a Cooper Kupp type

Imagine the packers come out of this thing with DeJean and the Irishman.

Yeah, he's a great route runner. I believe he had one of the fastest 10 yard splits.

It's possible Tez Walker could still be there in Round 4 if you are looking for a pure burner. I know you just drafted Tyler Scott, but he really didn't impress last year.

I don't think Tez plays fast. Tyler Scott got open and was a willing blocker. I'll blame his drops on a lack of focus due to having a quarterback who couldn't pass.

I believe you are not correct with this one, he was really good in one on one’s.

I would say he is a guard at the NFL level.
