Israel was not created to be a place where people of all religions could live and if it should become a Muslim theocracy by majority rule then that's just democracy in action. The "normal" rules were never meant to apply.

Of course, there are fair criticisms to make of Israel perhaps becoming a bit too theocratic itself and needing to decouple from the Orthodox, but that's still attached to believing that a Jewish state centered on Jerusalem can/should/must exist.

Hate speech is protected. Hate speech sucks. People that hate suck. And we need to point at and call out those people and make it a social no-go. But as soon as you go down the road of trying to police speech as shakes suggests, there is no end in sight to the tyranny of government.

100% correct. Policing thought crime is absolutely insane. Demanding special rules according to some stack ranking of historical oppression is arguably the best way to make people hate the historically oppressed.

If protesters are taking over campus buildings, creating no-go zones for Jewish students, destruction of property, threats of violence......college universities should not be negotiating with them. What has been going on at UCLA (amongst others) is ridiculous. These are mobs threatening violence and violating the rights of Jewish students. Protesting peacefully is fine. This is not.

I suppose I could say "whatever the protestors do is acceptable" which is the rhetorical equivalent of putting your fingers in your ears and going lalala, but that's already being done by the Israel can do no wrong or be criticized crowd and I haven't said that.

I started this morning by saying how much human suffering would be enough to believe protesters are actually genuine about it? There's no answer to that because these protests are genuine, just like virtually every protest. This cynicism about war protesters is borne from not being able to reconcile what you see in Gaza as clearly not being moral or just and all the other political beliefs you hold that contradict having any common ground with the protestors. So they must be fake, paid for, have other nefarious, unstated motives or just be racist monsters that for some reason have chosen just this moment to express it.

Everyone else is bought and paid for but not you, you're impervious to it all.

If someone famous says that blacks suck no one is going out tomorrow and attacking a black person walking down the street jsut for being black.

But, if someone famous like Kanye or Kyrie Irving says that about Jews you better believe it is going to embolden some idiot to go out there and commit a hate crime against Jews. This is not a now problem either. This is a past 4000 years problem.

Jews make up something like 2% of the population in the USA yet account for 60% of the reported hate crimes in this country. Think about that for a minute. 2% of the population, 60% of the hate crimes. There isn't a people in the world who needs to be more protected than the Jews. Hatred of Jews unchecked will 100% lead to violence against Jews. It has literally followed that exact pattern 100s of times throughout history and throughout the world.

I don't recall you, Ricky, so I would start out by saying I don't think you have the experience of judging all my views in a days worth time.

It is my own personal judgement, by watching and reading, that the majority of college protestors are wet behind the ears and being used. They may THINK they have convictions but when they cry for bottled water, I tend to doubt their "deeply held" convictions. As far as the protesting industry, the mayor of NY and the commissioner of police have something to say about it and the receipts to back it up.

Lastly, Ricky11Slade sure isn't going to change my views with insults and JAQs.
