He's got the woke left losing their minds all over Twitter. Now we just need a baseball team to sign Trevor Bauer.

Well done sir!

The Butker items are the most popular selling items now, the women's jersey's have completely sold out. I guess the "Silent Majority" wins again

I don't have a problem with a religious nut believing a biological woman's life would be more fulfilling making sandwiches. I can't understand how parents can give a man an ovation for those views at their daughter's college graduation. Why did you pay her tuition? I wouldn't think what happened was believable for a comedy sketch.

Do you believe your job or how you provide for your family is more important than being a good husband or a good father? You can say providing is part of being a good husband or father but is any title or professional accomplishment more important?

Professional accomplishments can be important without diminishing other aspects in life. When you're a new college grad, getting a degree and ultimately a job in your field of choice likely are your life highlights at that time.

Half to 3/4 of college grads end up either in fields not related to their major or in jobs not requiring a degree. So those that view college solely as a trade school run a good chance of being disappointed.

I've covered all roles for the majority of the time I've been a parent, so I'm not knocking anyone who stays at home. That said, IMO a college graduation isn't the place to tell young women that they should be in the kitchen. I also don't believe parents should give an ovation for such an original thought.

You should check out Biden sponsored Hamas rally. From what I gather they have VERY progressive views on women's rights.

I'll let you cover that. You're doing an excellent job with the culture wars, my friend. I'm sure you'll wear a Butker jersey to Princess Bob's college graduation so you can pwn her.

I'm not following your point. He's speaking as a Catholic to a probably mostly catholic audience. He addresses the female graduates at about the 12 minute mark and the men after. He's saying there is no greater role for a good society than the ones we play in our families. It's not dissimilar to several other past speeches about what's important in life.

Here's his whole speech.

Good thing that wasn't part of his speech or why he got an ovation.

I watched the speech. I know exactly what he said. I'm sorry that you're bothered by me paraphrasing his original thoughts. He absolutely did get an ovation after his rant about the lies that have been told to biological females.

I thought it was Judaism? It's hard to keep up with all of the claims of victimhood.

Also, has he seen the birth rates and marriage rates. Young college grads aren't itching to get married or start a family. Young women are looking to run the world. He has a job a woman could probably take.

I don't think you are paraphrasing, I think you are changing the meaning of what he said.

I don’t really have a thought on the content of his speech, but I don’t know that preaching to the choir is the point of a commencement speech. It’s nice to congratulate people, sure.

The all time commencement speech is David Foster Wallace at K enyon, which is mostly about how nobody knows anything, so don’t leave college thinking otherwise. In fact, leave college knowing you know less than the people you think know nothing. It’s brilliant and depressing and the perfect send-off for people entering real life.

So I combed through his speech and I can't find any references to where he specifically told women to get back in the kitchen. Am I missing something here? Perhaps this happened in an alternate reality. Maybe Zippy's in which the NFL salary cap doesn't exists, or Nas' where Biden got 80 million(*
) votes. If someone could fill in the gaps here that would be great.

I'll hang up and listen for your answer

suffice it to say Bob that what he said was so awful that people are calling for the Chiefs to cut him over it.

Who fucking cares what he said? He was speaking to a specific audience and it seems like it was well received. He wasn't giving a speech to all of America. If you don't like what he said move on.

The people who are buying his jersey in record numbers and the people who want to see him get cut.

MANY romanticize about the days when they believe a woman carried a baby in one hand and a sandwich in the other hand. When women allegedly took pride in helping men fulfill their dreams and prayed that man would never leave them. That view of women and marriage isn't unique. I was bothered by the cheering parents. I would venture to guess most of their daughters didn't get a degree solely because they wanted to be a homemaker. I would also venture to guess they didn't need that encouragement at their graduation.

It should also be pointed out that Butker's mother is a very accomplished educator.

Do you have a point? Obviously girls in that class are earning degrees.
