If you had to live in a city with two pro sports teams and root for the local teams, which city would you choose:

1. Buffalo- Bills and Sabres;
2. Baltimore- Ravens and Orioles;
3. Charlotte- Panthers and Hornets;
4. New Orleans- Saints and Pelicans;
5. Cincinnati- Bengals and Reds;
6. Indianapolis- Colts and Pacers;
7. Nashville- Titans and Predators;
8. Kansas City- Chiefs and Royals; or
9. Las Vegas- Raiders and Golden Knights.

There are no good choices here, but I'll say Baltimore for the near Southside experience and because both of their teams have enjoyed a reasonable level of success over the last 30 years.

KC?

You get another decade of great NFL.

I see your point from the NFL perspective, but I don't know if I'd want to live in KC. It seems like Omaha or Des Moines with a couple of pro sports franchises.

Guessing it is not the point of the question but I wouldn't pick the city based on the teams.

The only two I would consider would be Charlotte and and far out suburban Nashville.

Others (i.e New Orleans and Vegas) great to visit but no way I would live there.

The desirability of the city can be considered as part of the question. Charlotte is warmer than the Midwest and Northeast and the taxes are probably lower, but it's also basically soulless. I know Nashville has a lot of fans on this board, so I'm not going to bad mouth it, other than to say that it's becoming a place like New Orleans or Vegas: some place you go to act the fool for a couple days and then come back home to recover.

If I could live in the suburbs, probably Baltimore but that would be cheating because I'd just drive down to DC all the time. If I had to live in the city limits, KC. There are some pleasant neighborhoods southwest of Country Club Plaza, and I wouldn't get sick of weekly barbecue.

but you'd have to be or turn gay.

Not the most complete list of cities. Why not Pittsburgh? I'd pick there over any of those cities.

Unless it's a max of 2. And are the Pirates really an MLB team.

Salt Lake City? About to get an NHL franchise. And the Utah Utes own Caleb Williams.

Indy-no-place -- something off about central Indiana; like there's a good chance every 3rd person has sex slaves chained up in their basement and an equal chance the chained-up basement sex slaves have hooves. Tho Indiana is the first state south / northernmost state with Waffle House, so that's a mark in the plus column.

New Orleans, but only for like 2 or 3 years.

Usually have fun in Cincy. UK hoops down the road an hour. Louisville only like 90 minutes west. Columbus 90 minutes NW. Indy not even that far. It's still Ohio tho. Ohio sucks.

Yeah, B'More/DC/Philly corridor you end up being able to get to a lot of different teams within a 2 hour drive.

Vegas would rock, until driven out to the desert and robbed and shot by my junkie "gf" and her pimp/bf.

If I’m purely ranking by the city (no school-aged kids) I’d go..

New Orleans
Charlotte
Nashville
Las Vegas
Baltimore
Indianapolis
KC
Indy
Buffalo
Cinci

I've never been to Cincinnati, but I have a feeling it sucks.

Yeah, I spent multiple days (2 days each over several weeks) there opening a new facility and I honestly can’t remember anything that I’d bring my family back for.

Buffalo. Both teams have you covered until the 3 months without snow arrive.
Nashville has promise but both teams need to suck a little less.

Based on the cities listed, Nashville. I don't like either team, but it's easily the best city you listed.

The correct answer is to add Tampa to the list. Buccaneers + Lightning all work for me, even though I'd be forced to adopt the Rays with them.

Maybe he was thinking that the Rays are in St. Petersburg and everyone uses that as an excuse never to drive to the Trop.

Vegas is a 3 team city as of next year.

I would take Nashville, easily the best city/place to live on that list. I say this as someone who has never been to Nashville.
