Little shit fucker. Costing them games with his terrible base running. Guy fucking looks like a pitcher hitting.

4 mental errors on the basepaths in the 2 weeks he's been up. And it's cost them games.

His arrogant aura isn't helping either.

I never believe in cub prospects hype machine. 9/10 fail miserably. prove me wrong PCA.

Shouldn’t his OBP have decreased after the sac bunt? His slash line was .000/.154/.000 coming in and it still shows OBP of .154. I thought sacrifices don’t hurt your BA but lower your OBP because you caused an out.

Looked it up…sac flies count against OBP but not sac bunts, as many times it’s not the player’s decision.

another PCA baserunning blunder tonight came back to bite them in the ass. and this was huge because they probably lost their chance at the post season. funny how baseball finds a way to punish you for not respecting the game.

i believe there were 2 outs already. if smyly was pitching for the braves, then yes...likely, a 57 foot curve ball would have scored pca from 3rd with 2 out. no doubt he's pressing.

Bret Baty was suppose to be the PCA of the Mets this year.

Remember how Joey Bart was the heir apparent to Buster Posey over in San Fran? He's probably done playing in the MLB.

He could very well win the gold glove right now if he played at the major league level. He has great speed but he has not shown very much with the bat. At the major league level last season, he looked terribly overwatch. In spring training, it wasn't good either. Starting to wonder if he might wind up a bust. I hope not. He should hire Bret Butler to teach him to bunt . He might pick up 20-25 hits a year that way.

His floor is Billy Hamilton with better defense. But you can't carry that level of bat with a 4-man bench. He has to be able to pull a .250/.310/.390 slash line against RHP to be a strong side platoon #9 hitter in the big leagues. That means being able to hit to both corners and turn singles into doubles.

The good thing is that they can leave him in Iowa all year to work on his approach. Canario is good enough to be the emergency CF behind Bellringer and Tauchman.

First career hit, first career homer. Two run shot into the wind.
