I'll put it without a question. Your point is stupid if you think it is wrong for a college football player to choose to play at USC.

And yet very few of the top players ever seem to play there these days.
I'll say this. You're stupid if you think that USC is currently an "elite program"

I'm shocked that they all don't go to USC or Miami.

Here is how I'd define an elite program: can it go into any living room in the country and have a legitimate shot at landing the player, even as that person is being recruited by other top teams.

That may not be other's definition.

That the Arizona schools can’t put together great programs bottles the mind.

Can't stand the heat and you get a DUI for thinking about drugs or alcohol.

I thought drugs & alcohol were the only accredited majors at ASU.

"I think his arm talent shows immediately," slot cornerback Kyler Gordon said of Williams. "He’s very poised. He's just learning every single day, chipping away and slowly getting better, and we’re all surrounding him."

While the 7-on-7 period was bumpy, Williams and the offense performed much better in the 11-on-11 portion of practice.

That included a successful two-minute drill in whcih Williams marched the offense down the field for a field goal. The drive included a deep completion to DJ Moore on a well-thrown ball along the left sideline. Moore made a fantastic leaping catch in front of safety Jaquan Brisker and got both feet down in bounds.

Williams followed that with two completions to Keenan Allen and a dart to Rome Odunze to set up Cairo Santos' field goal attempt.

I think that's part of the drill.

This defense is very confident. This team seems confident. I like that Eberflus isn't treating Caleb with kid gloves. He's criticizing the mistakes. I suspect Caleb feeds off of that, but it also raises the expectations for him.

I'm sensing a special season if Caleb arrives.

i think caleb sets himself up for motivation. all the talk of not needing punters and beating rodger's legacy will need to be proven.. hes putting himself in the corner and i like that a lot.

Caleb will be working with Brock Purdy over the summer. Just hearing that gave me a tingle up my leg.

The Bears play the 49ers this year too. I expect the Bears to lose but maybe Caleb can get enough of that Purdy magic to make it interesting.

What if some of Purdy's white mediocrity rubs off on Caleb. What if he eats a casserole and starts wearing crocs and says things like "aww horseshit"?

It's Brock Purdy, so it should be fine. Besides, based on his draft date, it's clear Caleb enjoys a little wihte meat. He must stay away from Mason Rudolph. That wihteness is bad for business.

This may be an attempt by Purdy and the 49ers to "Poison the Well". I'd stay away.

it should be a wild year. caleb isnt stepping into a rookie team. of course we will give him a pass if its a losing year, but if hes even just halfway competent it shouldnt be one.

Lew Wolff is like a generic fictitious name for an investment banker, with plenty of ((())), to let everyone know he is good at his job and connected in the business.

Good for him. He'll need employment when he flames out in the NFL.
