What Windhorst said what spot on though. The NBA, probably more than Any other sport, exposes both players and coaches in the playoffs. Luka and his shitty D would never have gotten this much scrutiny in the regular season. It's one thing to not be a good defender or 'bad" at defense, but you can't be a liability on defense. He's a liability and Boston exposed it. But truth be told this has been the case all playoffs but they were able to weather it. Boston is too good to do that with however.

I think they’ve lucked out on matchups. Minny was uniquely suited to beat Denver. Nobody else in the west beats Denver.

Actually I don't. Those mid season moves they made to shore up their interior defense was critical.and highly underrated. They needed size and they went out and found it. This was no fluke. Denver isn't a juggernaut. Dallas had 2 players that are virtually unguardable. No one else in the West has that. What they lacked was size on the interior last year. Gafford, Washington and drafting Lively helped change that.
I picked them as the team before the playoffs to watch. And they haven't disappointed. Til now

They have one guy who scores no matter what. That guy doesn’t always include his teammates.

Kyrie is fickle. Nobody else can make a shot.

I feel like Denver got fucked by Murray’s collapse. Otherwise, that team has joker, Gordon, Murray and Porter…all of whom can make shots. Outside of Boston I don’t know who matches that depth offensively.

Kyrie Irving is a killer and always has been I don't care about the media narrative. He laces it up. Jamal Murray has never been an All Star and neither has Porter. Kyrie Irving is a Hall Of Famer. Minnesota handled Denver fairly easily and Dallas handled Minnesota easily. Dallas had one of the best records in the NBA after making the trades. They aren't a fluke by any stretch.

He quit on two franchises. There’s no denying his talent. There’s also no denying he’s happy to give up at the drop of a hat. That’s not a killer.

Boston has had an easier road but they’re also the better team. The east sucks.
