The entire bullpen sucks, but you can't keep trotting these same clowns out there. Its beyond time to DFA or option some of these relievers. The guys in the Charlotte or Birmingham bullpen can do worse.

Sox have had a lead in 26 of their losses. 19 of leads were blown in the 6th inning or later. Its mind boggling to be that bad.

Kopech has 27innings. 18 BB, given up 6 HRs, 3 blown saves, and almost a 9 ERA in non save situations. You can no longer use him in high leverage innings. And Grifol has been a fucking idiot for continuing to use him in non-save situations.

Since the AS break last year, the Sox have played 137 games. They are 40-97

I was told Kopech was now an elite reliever that would fetch a massive prospect haul at the deadline, what happened?

I was told Counsell would add 10+ wins and that the the Cubs were on a 101 win pace. What happened?

I know they were trying to turn him into a closer or late inning option, but he's probably more a 5th/6th inning guy who can maybe go 2-3 innings. He can't be used in high leverage and has become more of a mop-up option. As a starter, he throws way too many pitches also. Yes, very talented, great fastball, but he's not an elite pitcher and probably not much more than a former top prospect who is hanging on because he has arm talent.

Grifol has nothing in that bullpen. Your stats show that. 26 leads that they lost.

It's sad, but the team is nowhere close to being competitive. Yes, there is some talent coming, but they dont' have enough talent to offset the roster especially because they don't spend on difference makers either.

I hate any combination with Maldonado, but I particularly hate this Maldonado catching/Lee DHing combination. It basically guarantees that they will not be able to pinch hit for Maldonado for the entire game.

I don't even care if they play Maldonado if there's some thought that he helps pitchers, but it shouldn't be more than 2x a week at this point or as a late inning backup. Lee should be playing 4-5x a week behind the plate.

Maybe he is. I wouldn't know. Does anybody? All I ever see is funny clips such as throwing errors on appeal plays.

Realmuto is out for a couple of months. Maybe the Phillies would take him for nothing.

Pedro uses 512 ops Benintendi as a PH with a risp in the 10th.

Showing a glimmer of hope with young pitchers.

Sox pregame is Leila, Scotty Pods, Ozzie Guillen and a bucket of Lites. Ozzie is looking at the Lites like Leila is looking at Pods.

Both hoping for "less filling"?

One great taste, the other less filling.

Maldonado has to be the worst catcher all around that has ever played the game of baseball. EVER.

there have to be some poorly aged posts out there by sox haters about Crochet

He and Cease are both Cy Young candidates this year, but the Sox couldn't keep them. That's Reinsdorfs legacy.
