He holds the Ball too long. Too Many possessions where he's the only guy who touches it or when he does give it up it's late in the shot clock. When guys double or hedge on him he has to give it up. Too often he wasn’t. Particularly when they were obviously hedging on him.

But this is not really true. Boston defended Kyrie hard all series. They seemed content to let Luka do what he wanted while trying to hold Kyrie down.

I think this series showed more on the limitations of Kidd than it did Luka. Although I would say I would like to see Luka get in better shape and at least try on defense.

They were consistently doubling Luka and denying the ball full court for lengthy stretches. That’s hardly letting Luka do what he wanted.
