It's a bad look from a "billionaire" who could easily foot the bill for it. But if, say, a bunch of people want to donate to Trump wanting that money to go towards funding funeral costs, and if the campaign can't actually make that expenditure without saying the undertaker was a lawyer, isn't it better to go this route? And yes, I know, "Trump paid a porn star for sex with campaign funds!" He actually didn't, but it' still s a sticky PR wicket that could've been avoided by just fronting the cash himself, unless there's some theory of liability his lawyers are trying to get him to avoid tacitly admitting to.

I'm sure there are some potential lawsuits he has to worry about, even though a bullet came within an inch of entering his brain. If the victims can get help, no one should be complaining. STFU and donate or just STFU. It's not that hard.
