Harry colored his hair. Bernise did not. Bernsie is aging a year every month it seems. I think he said he's 39. He looks like he's pushing 50.

Show starts at 11:30. Let's count the bad Harry jokes. Let's see how long Bernsie can hold that mean and angry look. Will he smile?

Wow. Lance Briggs looks like he popped a few Vicodin pills before the show. Very mellow. Very slow. Eyes look half shut. Kind of has a goofy smile and laugh.

I wonder if Harry brought up his joke he said a few years ago....remember there was a guy named Bernstein that played FB I think for the University of Wisconsin, and Harry said "Its great to have a Bernstein in the midwest that isn't full of himself".....

Maybe I just haven't been spending enough time looking at pics of Bernstein, but when i saw the show last night I didn't even know who the guy with Harry was. The voice sounded like Bernstein, but the guy was way too old.

Remember them? An adorable young dolphin asked a shitty question on one episode. Coach dismissed it in a charming way.

As as yute, I took Wanny to task one year on that cheesy show. Also met Jay Levine and Lester Holt in the hallways of the CBS2 studios. button 48

My brother and I went to the Ditka show. He asked Ditka if he was gonna replace Kevin Butler who had a poor season. think it was 91.
Never before and never after have I been more creeped out by a man than a Red Faced Perspiring nervous Howard Sudberry

I dont know why he was so nervous but it was like a crack addict waiting to hear if the dealer will extend him credit.

Oh yeah, also got Zorich's autograph on the show, but I didn't ask him about playing linebacker.

Jay Levine is a dick, a cheap ass and a below average golfer.

My dad took me to the ditka show right after they traded mcmahon to SD. Coooach was asked 3 questions in a row about the trade, he said ?no more mcmahon questions", very next question is from some 10 or 11 year old who asked him "why did you trade mcmahon", cooooach ignored him, it was classic.

That's not the first time I heard that. I had a classmate at Columbia who interned at CH2 and he said the same thing.

Lester Holt came to my 8th grade class in 1993 for one of those "Big Brothers" things to give hood boys a Black Man to look up to....meh...I remember most of the guys felt that he was phony. I remember Frank Cornish was supposed to come but didn't....I think Rick Party was there too....I was mad because I wish I would have signed up to hang out with someone famous...but I just chose any name..

BTW, Moment of silence for Frank Cornish....

Thank you very much...

When Lester Holt was still working at CBS 2, he was the host of a video that prospective jurors had to watch at the start of jury duty that I had to attend many years ago at 26th & California. Yeah, he had a mustache back then, and I remember having to go on St. Patrick's Day one year. Luckily for me, I wasn't picked for a jury. I got $17 for compensation and got dismissed about 6 hours or so after having to report at about 8:30a in the morning. The other thing that I remember was that they had two TVs on the monitors. One had "The Price is Right" & a first round Illinois basketball game in the NCAA Tournament on one monitor, while the other had "Jenny Jones" & "Geraldo".

Now THAT is the definition of a tease! Tell us more, rpb. Anybody got any dirt on Mark Suppelsa? How about Linda Yu? I smell a brand new section, Big Fan, dedicated to the newsreaders who think they're too cool for school.

Ill try not to bore you with the entire story as it all boils down to numbers. 125 15 and 5.25.
One of those is his score  , one is his tip  , and one is the hours  it took for him to prance around 18 holes like he's the most famous person to ever golf there . (Actually he wasnt the most famous guy there that day Ozzie Guillen was at the same outing. I remember because It was between Jay and Ozzies group and I got Jay). He acted like Stevan Seagal in the commercial "I cant believe its me either"

Actually I thought he would be a good loop, he was a guest of a cool member. This member was usually a lock for 50$ for 18 holes, but alas that day he let Jay take care of it(Presumably he thought Big Time Jay would tip well). So I went home with 29$ (14 flat rate) for a 6 hour day of having to carry a guys bag who thought he was Edward Murrow and golfed like he was Hellen Keller.

Even being all of 14 at the time I remember thinking "Bill Kurtis should be embarassed to know you buddy".

$14 per bag? Holy shit was that during the great depression? I've never heard of anything under $30 and that was for a first time B jock. Caddying for a guy who shoots 125 is a drag but during and outing that is going to happen. Got to make the best of it and bet on everything known to man with the other caddy.

Wow, that sucks just 2 years later i started in northern burbs at $35 per bag (no tipping allowed), then moved over to a course that was $40 per bag plus tip. It doesn't seem worth it for $16 per bag, not even a dollar a hole and below minimum wage. I'm just saying.
