WTF? Is that their trans team?

Yep, don’t need anything else to beat the Bear.

Is that you in the front row on the left, Hawg?

You're a little thicker than I would've thought.

Oink Oink!

The fact that you are copying anything Caller Bob does makes my snout sad.

It is hilarious and probably Bob's greatest contribution to society. I will continue to pay homage to his geniusness.

Tyler Scott might be a very serviceable 4th WR. Twitter told me so! Seriously though, if he has learned to actually catch a football in stride, its huge!

Now I am confused. I thought I was told, I believe here, that with this embarrassment of riches that is our receivers room, that there is no way Scott makes the team?

He had no problem getting open last year.

I used to love and live for reports from training camp in my youth. I now find them mind numbing. It might be because there are so many outlets reporting or it may be that those outlets need to fill an hour of content with five minutes of worthy information.

I still "enjoy" them, but I now question most of the reporting. I have to listen to multiple reports to piece together what's likely accurate.

I think you're confusing him with Velus Jones.

Jones might make the team, though, in light of the changes to the kickoff rules.

I'll take guys with 2-sylllable first names and one-syllable last names who don't catch balls thrown to them for $400.

Wiederer says that Wiliams has looked like a franchise-changing quarterback "at times" during training camp.

Let's hope his consistency improves over the course of training camp.

I do not understand the disrespect for Khalil Herbert in the media and I hope it is not something that is true among the coaches. He's arguably their best RB. He's certainly the best back they have at running the ball. Sure, he has holes in his game. I'll indulge some holes from a guy who has a nearly 5 ypc avg over his career and making rookie contract money

The media appears surprised that he runs well. It's the only reason I was fine with him replacing Montgomery. Herbert was running the ball better than ever before his injury.

Mully and Haugh are sounding the alarm about Braxton Jones.

Outside of Cronin, who thinks Herbert is getting cut, it has seemed more like disinterest than disrespect from the media. If you aren't Adrian Peterson elite, you're just a guy at that position. Herbert is definitely the best RB. Johnson had the concussion last year, but even before that, he's just a guy.

Is Herbert a better RB than Swift?

Herbert looked like a legit runner when he was healthy and the line started opening lanes for him. I might need to see more of Swift though.

his running numbers are elite, even when not getting help from the OL

He isn't much of a blocker. He got better as a receiver but I don't know if he is average.

but the guy gets yards when running and it is noticeable compared to other backs, including Monty.

I thought so. Maybe Swift catches the ball better and is a more willing blocker.

The Bears will desperately need a receiver out of the backfield to act as a security blanket for Williams.

Herbert hasn't shown that he can be that guy whereas Swift should excel in that role. As you suggested, Herbert also sucks as a blocker. I haven't watched Swift enough to know if he is any better.

I thought he was good and that was why Poles moved on him so aggressively. A couple of Philly reporters I heard giving post signing interviews said that he was below average at pass blocking. So here we are again with three bad pass blocking backs

I believe this is a very underrated part of Aaaron Jones game that the Packers are going to miss also.

It sounds like Poles quickly pivoted once he learned he wasn't going to get Barkley.

If you scroll down Twitter, you'll see some reporters claiming the defense owned the offense today. You'll see others claiming the offense owned the defense. It's almost to the point where you need to see it to believe it. Wiederer is one of the voices I think can be objective.

If Liev Schreiber narrates that clip, I'm going hands free baby.

(But really: Please don't try to do that in an NFL game)

Apparently, the offense dominated in 7-on-7s, but the defense dominated in full-team situational drills. Williams only had 5 completions total in 5 different full-team periods.
