watchable, but you'd be better off watching the original movies. They get the old team back together and it feels comfortable, although I think Judge Reinhold forgot the quirky fun of his character. They really rehash the same formula from the original movie. The soundtrack is even the same, with a bit of modernizing of The Pointer Sisters, Bob Seagar and Harold Faltemeyer. It's good to see Eddie Murphy having fun again as a comedic actor, rather than playing in kids movies and singing.

I got through an hour and pulled the plug. It wasn't very funny or original. Although, in fairness, I wasn't a huge fan of the earlier versions.

It was okay. Eddie Murphy surprisingly still has it, but the writing did him no favors.

That was true of the sequels as well.
