This has gotten so bad that Getz/White Sox have to blame someone...I guess.
Although, putting together the worst team in MLB history (or close to it) would seemingly put Getz in danger of losing his job also, but not for the White Sox.

If I thought they had some managerial mastermind coming in, it would be exciting for Grifol to be fired immediately. However, the new hire will end up being some "Jerry's guy" that's already part of the system, so who really cares.

Seriously. It's Aug 2nd. They have 51 games left, and could finish the season on a 51-0 streak. Their reward would be a losing record...

If the management cares at all about its dignity and reputation, the team can't keep racking up double digit losing streak after double digit losing streak. No one will listen to a single word they say about anything.

So they fire Pedro. They go 10-2 in the first 12 games after he is fired. Suddenly their reputation is better?

Come on, that is silly talk.

This is a lost year no matter what happens at this point.

At the end of the year when you're talking to Jerry, you don't see any difference in those scenarios?
