He's a gamer. Always played at an elite adjacent level with mediocre qb without complaining about his circumstances. You don't have to fear him dogging it when things aren't going well for him or the team.

I'm not sure what this means for Keenan Allen, but if I were only allowed to sign one, the choice is obvious, given their situations.

You can still give Keenan a Mike Evans deal if he plays well.

Pretty good for having bums as his QBs

Paying a lot for the 3rd best offense in the division is a great use of Caleb's rookie contract. Well done Poles!

Better then paying a lot for the 3rd best QB in the division like the Packers just did. Well done cheese heads!

Well he was just voted the 34th best player in the NFL so that bodes well for the division.

This isn't Madden. You don't get a talent boost based on the ratings. Biden had the most votes in history. How did that end up working out for him?

Last year, Fields' peers ranked him as the 86th best player in the NFL. All that got him was a ticket out of town.

They also kept Thieving Mack on the list.

FF is doing his best to take away my "least expensive offense" meme and then you hand me the gift of "Jordan Love was voted the 34th best player in the NFL"! Thanks Hawg!

I guess the Chiefs should have learned from the Packers on how to achieve greatness with that HOF QB

I would think actually the Bears should learn from both organizations.

That was good.

Bear fans come at you like a bunch of zombies. And not the World War Z kind.

The core of the offense is locked up for a long time.

He took less to stay with the Bears. His agent should be investigated.

I think Allen is going to prove himself to be the best WR in this group and the one Williams leans on in tough situations.

Tell you what... if the bears get 20 years out of Williams and he's a HOF guarantee I'll tell you what it feels like. Until then I need you to tell me what the underschievement feels like

It's mostly fine. Seeing a SB win every 15 years or so and generally being in the mix every year for 30 straight years is a far better fate than most NFL fans get to see. Maybe your team should have acquired some HOF QBs during your life so far, sounds like a pretty pathetic franchise.

Revisionist history to say the least. But could you imagine if the Bears would have passed on McMahon in 82 and drafted Marino in 83? Woah Nellie!
