They would have been better suited for the in season show. When caleb has rookie struggles. There's positive vibes only right now, no coach or gm fighting for their job.

Does Saben always have to wear a Crimson red jacket even though he's no longer the coach of Alabama? Makes him look like a douche.

Great show. The real speed clips of the Caleb practice throws show you why he’s been 1/1 his whole life.

Changes in arm angle, velocity…this year is going to be awesome.

They didn't show it in this episode. But Fox 32 showed a throw he made in practice . Rolling left. Throwing against his body. Tight window. About 30 yards. Perfect throw. Few could make it. Most wouldn't attempt it. Yeah, those are the special throws you expect from #1 over all pick.

They did. There was a montage after the “rookies make mistakes” segment that was throwing porn.

Watch it back. Guy is a star.

Eberflus's party at his house: Him wearing the exact same outfit as another coach. Kind of funny. The odds of that happening for men is rare. I'm sure it happens with women all the time.

Happened on the Netflix show receiver. Davante adams and Maxx Crosby wore same outfit to gameday

I’m a little concerned that Flus believes in his own glow up.

I'm kind of sick of him caring about his look. coaches shouldn't care that much. He changed overnight. Last year he had the floppy hair, unkept hair that he would have to pull back when yelling a ref. That's how a coach should look.

And he should wear a cap on the sidelines anyway. I don't like that he doesn't. I know it's not rationale. Little things bother me in life that I shouldn't care about. OCD I guess.

Plus, he looks younger without the beard if caring about his look is what he's going for.

Years ago, I was in a club, and Marcus Fizer and I had the same thing on, minus the shoes.

I enjoyed the show, but it definitely got off to a slow start.

The stuff with Eberflus and his change made me laugh. I did not realize they had a team barber in the building.

Eberflus has grown on me. He seems very sincere even tho he is really goofy at times. I like how his daughters are really into what he is doing. I think that speaks well for him that they are so concerned about his career.

Kevin Warren every time he is on camera gives off such stupid vibes. Biggest loser in the organization by far.

Liked the stuff with Poles on giving DJ Moore the extension.

Hopefully they pick things up next week.

Absoutely. Like I said earlier, Poles doesn't like Warren. You could see it in that meeting about Moore's contract. You can see what Poles is thinking. That he things Warren is a fucking clown ass hat that just talks to hear his own voice. Warren really does talk without really saying anything. One of those guys.

Surprised nobody is mentioning the European carry all Caleb was shown hoisting after his meeting in Flus' office.

I really liked that Bears barber pole and would love to get one for the house.

The "you're all grinders" speech from flus was painful.

After they fire him this year if they can get a real coach the team will be pretty fun.

That halftime speech was goofy as well, praising them for coming in prepared and starting off strong. They were down 10-0 when he started substituting.

I am convinced Flus isn't the guy I want guiding this team but Poles thinks differently

am I wrong to think it is a bad look for Poles to be walking around the facility during work hours dressed in sports shorts and sweat tops?

Dress like you're the boss when there are people in the building. At least put on dress shorts and a polo.

Warren, for all his ineptness, understands the value of looking the part.

Yes, you are wrong. He's a sports GM. Mirroring/being relatable to his players is important.

Warren's role is entirely different. He should dress as a president.

Yeah I am with Nas here. I have no problem with Poles dressing how he did in the facility dealing with players.

Warren is a different story.

that wedding photo of Owens and Biles looked made them look like an unhappy couple. It certainly wouldn't have been the one I would show the world. He probably gave it to the show while she was away and will hear about it when her/her friends see the episode

I am a little surprised they allowed him to go to Paris. I think I read somewhere that it was negotiated into his contract.

Is a back up safety in a position to make such demands?

Kind of a cool story that he got to do it.

He has 30 starts with 28 in the last two years, so he has some leverage as a backup+. He certainly came in with a guaranteed spot. As long as the Bears knew the deal going in, it's on them for agreeing to it if they had reservations. I'd tend to trust a vet who has had to fight for everything he has achieved in his career.

Saban isn’t coming back to the NFL.
