Very strange criteria - must be a current coach/manager (probably meant to eliminate local favorites), and not that I think Francona would want this job, but why close the door to a great manager because he didn't coach this year, especially if you're going to try and sell us on a manager in Miami whose team is in last place or some unknown bench coach as being the solution?
