Eberflus has said they are throwing everything possible at him defensively to confuse him. Sounds like that's working. Hopefully he will start figuring things out soon.

We'll see how it looks on Saturday.

I didn't think there was any doubt.

In Eberflus's mind apparently there was. Eberflus is rapidly turning into a "Master of Development" isn't he?

You haven't learned how to understand the way he speaks. I knew he was playing last week. Even if you can't understand Eberflus, you can just listen to Waldron.

I think it's unlikely Caleb plays next week. This may be his only preseason game.

I'm not trying to either. Something tells me that by this time next year he won't be doing all that much "speaking" as the Head Coach of Da Bear anyway.

Next week is the third of 4 preseason games. He'd better be playing since I assume he will sit for game 4.

Mercedes Lewis talks about Caleb like he's the next coming. I like to hear the defenders talk about him. I think there's more truth with them.

The truth is on the field.

I agree. That's why I want to see him in action so I don't have to lean on the thoughts of others.

Nice post by Braggs. Moreano could learn something from him.

Especially when a very big percentage, if not all, are playing grab ass on the sidelines when practice occurs, with occasional moments of paying attention.

All of these "great" things and yet the defense is still dominating day after day in practice.

The offensive players on this roster are nowhere "like" the ones on the roster over the past 3 years

It feels like its been forever since we've had our lines locked down going into a season. Williams lack of experience and line play are going to doom us. 9-8. Sorry, boys.

If the offensive line is bad how are they getting to 9 wins?
9 wins is if everything goes well.

9-8 is not a good season. By the way, what was the Packers record last year?

I should wait until I see him play before making this assessment, but fuck it.

I think Caleb is mentally ahead of some second year starters. They're asking him to make reads and checks that rookies aren't asked to do. I was watching/listening to Up and Adams today, and it sounds like Eberflus has been tailoring practices to intentionally stress Caleb. During the downtime, Eberflus is also giving him lessons on defenses and their tendencies.

I think this kid may take flight immediately. He's played with shit lines the past two years. I don't think the Bears will have a shit line, but he's ready if they are.

Good enough to go to the playoffs and win a road playoff game and lost a tough game on the road the next week. How have the Bears records been lately?

Actually, 9-8 next year doesn't sound so bad. Thanks Hawg!

I don't know why you wouldn't be happy to go 9-8 with the least expensive offense in the NFL.
