Have you ever seen Lindsey Hunter play? He's not a shooter (only when open) and he's a decent veteran floor general. I'm thinking D. Rose could benefit from actually playing with and learning from a real NBA point guard.

Lindsey Hunter's signing today is insurance, especially because Derrick Rose's the ONLY true point guard on the roster. #1 has logged heavy minutes early on with Larry Hughes sidelined with a shoulder injury and Kirk Hinrich out until the All-Star Break with the torn thumb. It's a no risk move. I'm sure Hunter is better than whatever bench player he'll eventually replace when the roster spot is needed.

This won't make the Bulls a championship contender but that's not going to happen this year no matter what.
