Bagent has looked solid in the preseason, oddly stated to think they could maybe flip him for a draft pick after he looked to be in total command of the offense last weekend, have stated to see that exact same thought a few places. The speculation was a 4th round pick? Seems a bit rich, but you would have to listen if a team calls.

Still not sure if they can keep Allen and if Odunze comes out strong he could also be moved as well, not sure if you extend him unless it is a team friendly deal and he is supposedly a west coast guy, so unlikely.

I'm not trading Bagent for a 4th. I wouldn't trade Bagent for anything less than a 2nd. A cheap quarterback with his drive and developing talent is more valuable to the Bears. You would be paying more and hoping to find someone as good as he is on and off the field.

I feel good about him compared to the high paid bozos who have held the position in the near past.

His arm is stronger. That certainly can happen with coaching and training, especially for someone who has only had lower end facilities in the past. Just like pitching, you get more into it if you learn to use your legs and trunk rotation. I've seen those resistance bands work wonders with helping guys increase arm strength. I don't think it increases much more from here after a year of advanced work.
