I think it'll be close. The Titans have a great defense on paper and talent on offense. Bears win 20-17.

Both teams undefeated in the preseason. Something's gotta give!

Bears should win this game. I think their defense is the best side of the ball in this game. Both offenses are unknown/questions so I would lean towards this game having flashes of offense, but defenses controlling this.

Chicago 20
Tennessee 16

You should take a look at their roster. The suckage predictions are based solely on Levis

Simmons is great but their back 7 sucks. They have whiffed on a few picks on defense. If the Bears don't put up 35+ I will be disappointed.

Yeah, you're looking at that defense completely wrong. You should probably prepare to be disappointed.

Besides Simmons, do you know who the rest of the guys are? They have a good defense. Namewise, the offense is even better. This game isn't a layup on paper. I wouldn't be shocked if the Bears lost the game.

Edge Rusher, Harold Landry is a slightly rich man's Rashan "The Contract" Gary, though he's not going to wreck games. The rest of their linebackers are journeyman.

Their corners are FA imports because they failed so miserably in the draft. Sneed will get exposed now that he doesn't have Chris Jones, or a Patrick Mahomes lead to play off of. Their safeties are terrible.

This should be slam dunk win and if not I'd start looking for a new Bears head coach in 2025. We need to pair Caleb with his Andy Reid, so I'm eying to pry McVay out of LA or Ben Johnson if we can't get McVay.

Sneed play a key role in the beating the Ravens and winning the last 2 Super Bowls. I wouldn't call him or Diggs bums.

Diggs is washed. I could see Simmons making a problem for the interior Oline if Nate "The Sabbatical" Davis doesn't show out against his former team. I hope Caleb has his running shoes...

Sweat was one of the top tackles in this draft as well. They just traded for Ernest Jones. Also, can our defense shutdown their offense?

This is an all-time great nickname for a Bears player.

Isn't Sweat out of shape and fell because of a DWI arrest? I think the only Sweating would be Hennessy. Waltz and him should be pen pals.

Caller Bob is a board gem. A legend in the making. But for my money, LTG is the master of nicknames.

Yup, but they just moved him from Shady Acres to the County home, and they only have basic cable at the county home so he's only exposed to what he sees posted here and what activity aide talks about during group memory therapy.

This board carries a heavy burden, it is the only contact to the outside world for our resident board shut ins.

I've heard more than one podcast commentator make this claim. Since when is a rookie QB's 1st ever NFL game a must win. Win or lose, it's how he plays the game. If Williams plays well, the W's all bonus at this stage of his NFL career. If shits down his leg and still wins, does that make it any better how he personally performed.

I'm with you on this. There's some pressure for him to play well but it isn't close to a must win.

We will find out if the interior of the O line can handle what should be a steady diet of blitz packages. They obviously will like Simmons one on one with any of the Bears interior guys, will be watching to see how Coleman and Davis hold up against inside power, see the Bears moving the pocket and trying to get the two big DT's moving laterally.

Will be interesting to see if Williams sees the pressures and hits hot reads early, have not seen that from a Bears QB for a while. If he does it could be a long day to the Titans.

We all know that Nas loves Will Levis, but it could be a long day for the prototypical grindy white QB. Loved JC Latham at G or RT, but does he have the feet to play LT?

This is a very important game for Eberflus, you lose here and you are looking at 0-2 with a tough second half of the schedule, that would put a ton of heat on the backside of one Matt Eberflus.
