i believe his career earnings are some $20 million above that.

i couldn't believe the articles earlier in the year that expressed concern about hendricks not making it to 10 full service years and missing out on a fully vested mlb pension. as if, he was joe lunchbox earning $62k a year and his retirement years are on shaky financial ground.
