Fine 3.5M. My point stands.

Football is an emotional sport. It shows that Poles cares. That's good for recruiting.

Is it cry worthy? 3.5 million (figure 1.2-1.5 million thanks to the taxes in all those Demo-RATIC cities he played in) is a nice starting point. Not enough to retire, but hopefully he's managed his money well and hopefully has his mortgage at least paid off. He had a full ride to Texas (degree and no student loans)so if football is done, maybe he can carve out a decent career in coaching or business.

There's been players in much worse circumstances. If it's that emotional they could have kept him over Simone Biles' husband.

He has a cool story about resilience. He was almost killed by a biological woman driver as a kid and he has been grinding for an opportunity to stick. People root for guys like that.

He talked about going into coaching. At 27, that may be best.

I'm glad you were moved. I found it cheesy. Now go bet on the Titans.

I didn't care other than getting additional confirmation that women shouldn't drive. I wanted Caleb for 50 minutes every episode. Take Titans and the points.

I almost did but the zen getting ready for major violence threw me off. I had to tell him to get off my lawn.

He had a little Pedro Cerrano in him. I kinda understand the barefoot thing, but I can't do it outside of my home.

He is probably a good dude to have on the team if you got room.

Also a story about stupidity, in that he apparently doesn't wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Especially after almost being killed? I do realize it is likely a short and relatively traffic-free ride from his hotel to Halas Hall and his beautiful face (and hair) needs to be fully visible to the camera. Nevertheless George has already banned cursing for the sake of the kids. What other wrong messages are being sent?

It is always cute to me how Dolphin never thinks any of that was going on in the Big 10.

Or the people who think Big Frank was clean after playing football in the 80s for an SEC school

I think you mean Fat Frank, who every year in ST was in the best shape of his life.

the editing on that was unbelievable, like nothing I've ever seen before. At first I thought that was the drill in real time, but then I realized that that was all edited to look like that. At one point you could see Williams #18 on the side talking to a coach while at the exact same time you could see Williams #18 taking a snap 30 feet away. Had to rewind it and watch it a few times to really appreciate the artistic genius of the editing.

I thought the last episode was well done and a good ending to the series. this team would have been far more interesting as the in-season hard knocks team as they could document the ups and downs of a rookie qb.

The Bears didn't hurt the image of the team. I think it was great marketing to potential free agents.

as someone who hasn't followed the sport in 15 years I found the show very interesting. I enjoyed the personalities they focused on although I have a feeling that when teh games start I'm gonna be watching and wondering who all the players are since the show mostly focused on fringe guys. Also wish the show focused more on Williams and the rookie WR in terms of off field personality stuff.

The stuff that was cut from Hard Knocks would have made an interesting show.

We now know that the offense was a mess, vets were openly dismissing the OC and the young QB, the o line was a total mess with one of your starters apparently quitting on the team, and most importantly your vets were likely laughing at the HC and his football word salad BS.

You also see Warren wandering around the office for hours on end doing nothing, waiting to be summoned by George and Virginia to be told what to do.

Poles must have sensed that the offense was not clicking, what kinds of conversations was he having with his vets and his OC to fix the issues?

I bet George came into the production truck with a large pair of scissors and cut 99% of the footage.

Warren must have arrived every morning at 3am to read through those MANY 12" stacks of papers so neatly arranged on his desk.
