Might have been scared to fumble. Even if the Bears stop them Bears still would have to go 70-80 yards with no timeouts to beat them. That is if there isn't a solid return

Imagine if he threw a pick before the half instead of a 50+ yard completion. Would the moron Bears fans say the pick wasn’t relevant? Of course they would, but because we’ll grasp at any straw to feed the delusion.

Some good. A lot of bad. Better than the first two games. Also vs a worse team.

If your takeaway from this game/loss is that it is on Williams then you are not being objective at all and just want him to be bad.

This game was way more about bad coaching, bad game plan, bad OL, bad GM

Of course Williams has plenty to improve on, but this loss is not on him.

Take the Hail Mary out. It's still a good game for a rookie QB in his 3rd start.

The turnovers need to be cleaned up but that's a rookie QB.

If Bagent is at QB the Bears win. The turnovers doomed the Bears.

Ignore the last drive, the Colts basically donated those points to the Bears as long as it rolled enough time off the clock (which it did).

Twice Williams got the ball in a crucial juncture, first after the charity first down from the punt and again after Indy’s score, he promptly turned it over both times. He simply does not have it and never will. He’s not intelligent enough.

You can keep thinking it’s going to change, it won’t. There is nothing there.

Fair.

This loss still hurts tho. The Bears should not lose to this damn team. There’s nothing elite about Indy while the Bears might have an elite defense at least. This is a tough loss, no way around it.

The last touchdown was a gift. Colts obviously played time and score. Caleb's fumble coupled with the int when they were in Colts territory were the 2 biggest plays of the game
No matter what anyone says, he basically only led the team on 1 scoring drive today..

Go ahead and subtract the 50 or so yards of that play, and he still showed progression and put up stats in his 3rd game in the NFL that Fields and Mitch took numerous games to put up.

It’s exactly what happened with Fields. The Bears are down two scores and need to score really quickly to have a chance. They score, but it takes like ten plays and three minutes. Idiot Bears fans think these drives are indicative of what the QB is capable of.

I’m assuming this dynamic will play out until literally the end of the time.

They have established playmakers at all 3 levels of the defense, and a legit #1 Wr (Moore, Allen), a very good TE, good depth at RB and young talent in guys like Odunze and Williams.. give all that to a good coaching staff and it looks different than this.

You’re right, this was all on display at USC long before Caleb took his first snap in the pros.

If "We" are really being honest this team should be 0-3

Moore is very good and Kmet is solid but I don’t know that I’d say that is “a lot of talent”. Young talent is not really a quantifiable commodity at this point. Depth at RB is fine if you’re dealing with injuries, but having a top level rb matters a lot more.

Caleb Williams is avg 39 passes per game over the first 3 games. And yet the offense is still rather anemic. Ouch babe!

Bad loss today, thats on the coaching. Offense still waaaay out of sync, lots of penalties, poor use of timeouts. and playcalling that kills momentum on offense.

The Bears are one of the dumbest teams in the NFL right now imo, and easily one of the most poorly coached.

If we had a viable sports media in this town, they would be roasting management and the coaching staff.
