Once again a final drive with a chance to win or tie and he pisses down his leg. Same tune, different orchestra . 2 more fumbles as well .

104 passer rating for the game and some of those throws were absolutely sick

He was the only reason they were in the game in the first place

Another week of not naming him QB1. Silent count ball to the face in final drive. Not that it would matter. He just can't ever get it done. Even if only needing a FG.

 Like I said . different orchestra, same tune.

Justin Fields delivered a big performance against the Indianapolis Colts, but Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin wants to see his quarterback play cleaner.

Fields passed for a season-high 312 yards and a score. He added 55 yards on 10 carries and another touchdown. But Fields also fumbled twice — losing one — and was sacked four times.

"I appreciate his fight. But he, and we, were a little bit sloppy at times, too sloppy to comfortably secure victory," Tomlin said after the game.

It's hard to blame Fields after the loss. He helped spark a second-half surge after the Steelers trailed 17-3 at halftime. However, his fumble on Pittsburgh's final drive put the team in a rough spot.

The Colts lost quarterback Anthony Richardson in the first half and 39-year-old Joe Flacco took over. Flacco — the reigning Comeback Player of the Year — finished with 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Steelers will have a decision to make at quarterback soon. Russell Wilson was dubbed the starter before the season but has missed the first four weeks with a calf injury.

Tomlin has not clarified who the official long-term starter will be once Wilson returns to full health.

"I've learned to make (decisions) when it's appropriate, and it's not necessary as we sit here right now. When Russ gets to an appropriate point of health and we have a decision to make. I'll make it and I'll announce it and I'll be really transparent about it," Tomlin said this week. "But until then, I don't care how many ways you guys ask me, I got no intentions of making the decision that's unnecessary at this juncture."

The Steelers are 3-1 and atop the AFC North. They'll host the Dallas Cowboys next week at Acrisure Stadium

Was the overthrow to the defender on 4th down on the last drive of the game to secure the loss "absolutely sick"?

Defense gave up 17 points on the first 3 possessions of the game. Try harder

What about the -20 yard run capped off by an unforced fumble, was that "absolutely sick"?

As if he had nothing to do with being down 17-3?

1. Fake news. He didn't signal a damn thing.
2. It wasn't like he was sitting in the pocket and overthrew him wildly.

Worry about your own QB who put up a whopping 157 yards against one of the worst passing defenses in the NFL.

Almost.

367 total yards and 3 TD's. But one bonehead play defines his game for you guys. Okay.

I was talking about Caleb. The quarterback who can win when his defense gives up more than 8 points a game. 8)

Edit: I don't care about Fields beyond trolling LTG. I hope you and former Bears fans are happy with him.

1-3. Must be the Bears defense holding him back.

He has a lot of physical talent. I don't think he'll ever be the guy you win because of. He's certainly better than Tomlin's son that he traded to the Eagles.

I have one game's worth of evidence. I don't watch the pathetic franchise that you root for, so I wouldn't know how he did with them.

Yep. The reason that they lost was today was because the vaunted defense didn't have today. And the snap wasn't in him. But CFMB will blame everything on him regardless.

Fact is he is clearly more talented than Caleb Williams. Eye test says it and so do the stats. Steelers fleeced Poles
