Maybe but some boxes are getting checked and time is always the truthteller.

 He is already making excuses for Williams having a good day against the jags.

He knows he is in over his head with his lame arguments but he is going to go down with those thoughts.

If he has a good game its because its an international game for the Jags, if he's bad its not because its an international game for him its because he sucks
How can you lose with that premise ?

So when Caleb bumslays shitty teams is he just a Rookie who going through the "typical struggles that all Rookies go through, or is he a top 10 QB ready to take the league by storm? Just Asking A Question

He's still a rookie and his production isn't indicative of anything going forward, though obviously it's better if he doesn't suck.

Top Secret Facebook Chat had a great statistic. Caleb is already in the top 10 for Chicago Bears rookie quarterback passing touchdowns. He should break the record before the first Packers game. I forgot that Fields and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky each had 7 in their rookie years.

I propose he changes his name to “Green Bay, WI, USA”.

It amazes me that someone actual came up with such an unfunny mult and keeps doubling down on it.

This isn't youth sports. You, They, Xem don't get an award for failure.

Justin Fields has combined for 8 TDs and 1 interceptiin this season

Caleb Williams 5 TDs and 4 interceptions.

In CFMB land that's still better

I'm often reminded of how they clamored for the immortal Tyson Bagent last season as a testament to their football "acumen"

The original question was, are you absolutely certain Williams will be better than Fields in yesr 3.

Yes. I'm pretty damn sure.

Fields should have had 2 more INTs yesterday but the Cowgirl DBs couldnt catch.

There is no world where you can watch Williams yesterday and Fields yesterday and come away with the conclusion that Fields is better.

And there is no world that anyone resides in where they would have watched these 2 over the first 4 weeks and walk away thinking Caleb is better.

When Caleb plays poorly he's just a Rookie who needs time to develop. When he slays bums he's a future Hall Of Famer. We have to pick a lane here.

no one has proclaimed him a future HOFer.

He is progressing and getting better each week. And he was clearly better than Fields yesterday. And it does not sound like Fields is going to be starting much longer. That will be a problem for your argument. Teams do not bench a QB for being good.

The Doctor Of Denial is going to hold onto Williams terrible first game, and slightly less terrible second game, for the rest of his life or at least until he picks a new screen name.

Caleb Williams has yet to play a game as good as Justin Fields played last week.

I'm ensconced in Steeler football since I've bet against them all 5 times. Fields has been OK. He has 3 above average games sandwiched between 2 below average. That puts him #22 statistically.

Game 5 was Caleb's first above average game. However, his first above average game was the best in the league in Week 5. It's something to hang our hat on. But it's temporary. Extremely temporary in this bastard of a league.

USA could be right, LTG could be right. All I got is hope that they aren't.

The thing I'm sure about is USA made an ass of himself Sunday.

We already know Fields can run the ball, that is not news. This about him actually being a QB. And in every way Williams was better.
