No one is buying this from you. I asked you many times before you brought up any of this other stuff if Williams would outperform Fields as a Bear. The one who doesn't have a spine is the one who is avoiding such an easy to answer question.

I will be more than happy to answer this as I basically already have, when you stop hiding from the very simple question I asked first which is if Williams will outperform Fields as a Bear.

Though, I will point out that Caleb Williams isn't 23. The age difference between them in terms of their first NFL game is 104 days.

Caleb turns 23 in one month. You're running scared and I can see why.

Each and every time more "immediate" comparisons are required you duck it

The best play that I can give you is same age. Fields was a 2nd year player at the age of 23. Which is Williams rookie season. His numbers will be better than Caleb's.

Again, it's 104 days difference in the age of their first game in the NFL. Both entered their first season at the age of 22. Do you really think 104 days(108 in actual age difference but the season started earlier this year).

It's just a remarkably stupid thing to argue over but they don't call you The Doctor Of Denial for nothing. 104 days difference.

All this to avoid you answering a very basic question. Will Williams as a Bear outperform Fields as a Bear?

Brick it's silly of you to constantly play gotcha when it comes to numbers but duck when it actually pertains to numbers.

If Justin Fields were truly as bad as you claim then it wouldn't matter what year it was you'd take the action.

3 months age difference isn't much age difference. When it's all said and done you're obviously ducking. Justin Fields will have better numbers at the same age than Caleb has despite playing with far inferior talent around him. Which you never take into account by the way.

Catch me when Caleb is better right? Til then beat it

I want to compare Fields entire time here with Williams entire time here. You refuse. You can stop acting like I'm the one ducking anything. Make it easy. Answer the simple question instead of creating arguments that are equally stupid and factually incorrect.

After reading some recent articles it sounds like Justin’s leash and margin for error will be getting smaller now that Russ is back at practice. Not good news for those of us that want that extra 4th and not good news for me and my investments.. hopefully Fields can keep playing well enough that the decision won’t be in question for a while.

"US" thought he was cooked after last game. A game in which he didn't play badly and still placed his team in position to win.

Well, at least I know how old Caleb Williams is.

Myself, Antioch, Nardi, Claw, GD, and I think even Brick all want that 4th rounder if Fields remains the starter for a good amount of the season.

I have extra incentive to want Fields to look good because not only do I like Justin, but I have a few rare graded cards of his that could potentially be worth a couple grand a piece if he turns out to be a great player -or at least has a great year.

So for me? Yeah, I want to see Justin ball out.. at least until I can unload some of the investment. I’ve got money riding on it.

our partners did it again

Panthers are tied for worst record in the league. However, they really need to step up their game. There are quite a few contenders and one win may drop them several draft slots.

Justin started and played the entire game. He has played approximately 35% of the expected total number of offensive snaps for the season. Steelers are tied for first and they are not a team that makes rash decisions. I think we are in good shape for at least two more weeks. It's the bye week that will be the determinant.

Sooner or later Justin is gonna get his lawn furniture rearranged on a dumbass scramble and it's all over WRT his only asset... speed. I worried about that a lot last couple aeasons.

Mixed results

Carolina re established themselves as one of the two worst teams in football. Cleveland is giving them a run for their money.

We now have to hope for a Russell Wilson injury to get to that 51% for Fields. That sucks hard because if they knew he was going to start 6 or more games for them, they would have given the 4th unconditionally.

This is one of those situations where you wonder if Carolina gives the Bears another first round pick if Poles throws in the Bears 2nd round pick in 2025. Similar to what the Raiders did in the Thieving Mack trade.

Panthers continue to do their part. They put up a little fight but can't cover an entire game with their talent. Browns look like a real team with Jameis. Titans are now the competition for the top pick of the second round.

Steelers play tonight. Hopefully Fields gets lots of time. Is there any place that tabulates season total offensive snaps for teams and players?

Ravens dropped not 1 interception, but 4 of them. Browns defense seems good, but I'd be very careful calling them a "real team".

I googled your question and found this.

It's possible that the Browns are lofted into normal submediocrity just by losing Watson. The Titans and Panthers are the real deal for bad, though.

Not particularly well if that's all you have to hang your hat on! :

If Justin Fields were on the Bears Roster currently there'd be so much noise to start him that you would have thought that you were at the ol Barn on Madison by the time the shouting stopped.

and now the Saints enter the tanking sweepstakes

I don't think there is much value lost between picking first or fifth in the second round. The value is on draft day where there are specific players.
