Caleb was bad for 3 quarters (stellar in the 4th). The o-line was bad all game. Waldron sucked until the last 10 or so minutes. Does he have some kind of tick that makes him blurt out inside zone run and screen calls into the headset?

Stellar? Lmao.

Very good, then. You can't deny that he lead two great drives making all-world throws, even one or two with pressure in his face. He adjusted from his earlier poor play and helped get his team back in a position to win.

Yes the adversity was largely of his making , but would you prefer he just continued to suck?

I don’t know about all-world throws. All-world receivers perhaps.

Didn't he have an after-the-play 15 yard penalty? I think Commanders went on to miss the FG, so didn't end up costing points, but not good.

This guy might be the worst of them all. This performance was really next-level bad, so bad everyone is kinda nervously insisting he was actually great. I’m sure there will be a whole slew of shitty YouTube videos titled “The League is SCARED of Caleb Williams”.

If we were at the “accepting reality” stage of Caleb Williams bust trajectory this would be a full fanbase crisis. Instead we are hunting for scapegoats on a defense that had an incredible day despite injuries.

I hate this guy. He’s a bad person, he’s a bad player. I’m disillusioned with this franchise until further notice.

Even if he never wins a SB, to say after Game 7 of his career that he's probably worse than the likes of Mitch and Fields is patently absurd.

At this point just admit you get off on being a miserable Bears fan.

Might be time to reiterate the fact that he does play golf.

It's okay, brother. I think the water is fine. We can paint our nails during the championship celebration.

Rose colored glasses. He was so bad it was frightening. He was uber-inaccurate today. I see some posters complaining about throwing the ball out of bounds. I can think of 3 passes he didn't MEAN to throw out of bounds. They were just ugly, inexplicable, bad passes.

He got over his suckage when it mattered most. That's a positive. It’s one that can't be ignored. That said, the first 47 minutes of suckage shouldn't be ignored either.

I'm trying not to ignore it but...Good lord, that was Henry Burris bad.

He really didn’t. The refs and his receivers started bailing him out, also the Redskins’ defense was clearly getting gassed.

He didn't turn the ball over, but I thought the first 47 minutes was the worst he's played all year.

I was thinking Craig Krenzel but to each their own

Name one of those completions that he was "bailed out" on.

this is correct. It's almost like we have a guy who knows how to play QB like it's 2024 and not 1954! Amazing!

The excuses when Williams is good are getting more ridiculous than the ones when he is bad.
